Went to this restaurant on Sunday night. Great food, I had steak with pepper sauce and my husband had a pork dish, bruschetta to start and dessert, glass of wine each and coffee for less than €65. Quality of food was amazing. Steak was cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly and helpful with choices. Most people around were eating pizza... More

Very good pizza, average swordfish carpaccio , awful salad . A bit annoying waiting staff, you don't feel very welcomed ,plus they charge automatically 2,5 euros per person , which for a restaurant like that , is a lot . Conclusion, go there for the pizza

I came upon this restaurant whilst wandering around the city and ended up returning the following day! It's clearly a popular place with both locals and tourists alike, and quickly filled up at lunchtimes. As for the food, it was very tasty and portion sizes very generous. I tried pizza and pasta and enjoyed both very much. Staff were friendly... More

This was a recommended restaurant we decided to try. It was a wet, rainy day, so we decided to order pizza. It was delicious. The wait staff is particularly good and friendly. The restaurant charges a coperto of €2.50 per person which is the highest we've encountered so far.

Great selection of oven baked, wood fired, pizza. The Capricciosa was excellent. Large servings, good flavour. Soft drinks. Alchol. Water. Codfed. Gelato. As simple lunches go, not much better.

We ate dinner in this restaurant three times. The first time outside and it was nice but noisy. It's on a busy street. The second and third time we ate inside where we enjoyed a pleasant, quiet dinner. Everything we have eaten here is good. We enjoyed the porcini mushroom pasta. Delicious. And, the fish dishes (those roasted in parchment)... More

After walking around the city all day we spotted the place and decided to stop here for dinner. We had pasta and it was very tasty. The staff was friendly and polite. However, we decided to sit at one of the tables outside- not a good idea. It was very noisy from all the traffic. If you decide to eat here,... More

After a long day of work, we were directed by the local team to La Brace. Parking is difficult, so be patient. The hosts were fantastic and after a mixed starter, 2.6kg of perfectly cooked Fiorentina, several Spritz, dessert, a litre of wine and a jug of limencello, the three of us came away with a bill under €180. A... More

I saw this place was recommended by a UK newspaper travel writer, so made a mental note of it as it highlighted the quality seafood as well as pizza. I came across it by chance and thinking I would have a pizza, I became indecisive when I saw the extensive menu listing the usual pasta dishes, pizzas but also seafood... More

Description
The restaurant is in the center of Bologna, not far away from the two towers, so even if there's not a great amount of parking places close to it, it's really easy to get to. The restaurant is cosy, it's ceiling is carpeted with football t-shirts, signed by their original owners. It's perfect for a quick lunch before going back to work, if you don't have much time, but also for birthday, graduation parties or for company meetings. Moreover it's possible to take away almost every dish in the menu from pasta, to meat, to fish and obviously, pizza. Reservations are always welcomed. The pizza is baked in firewood oven and all the courses are prepared at the time or, in the case of pasta al forno lie Lasagne, in the morning. It has also a large choice of desserts, from tiramisu, to cakes, to sorbetto, to fruit. In short, there's something for everyone!
