It was our last evening in Bologna and a thunderstorm was brewing so we couldn't face another three course blow out. This enoteca offered a lovely alternative. A wide selection of wines and some very tasty bread and cheeses to accompany them. The passion fruit marmellata was so good that a jar of it is coming home with me. Warm,... More

The restaurant is more known for aperitivi, but for the moment I've tried it just for lunch. French specialities simple like croque monsieur or crèpes, but also huitres, fish, cheeses in a lovely room at the 1st floor with view on the street (or also outiside in the pedestrian area). Very good French rosé wine, very difficult to find in... More

Placed in downtown, I came here for the first time by chance. The waitress - the cutest maitre I've ever seen! - suggested us tasting an awesome white wine c.d. "Clues du lune". Quite expensive place - well, a super expensive one, if compared to the price standard in Bologna - but it worth your money!

Hallo GourmetPellegrino, thank you for the good words, really appreciated, but let me say that your impression about our prices is a little far from truth: you had one of the nicest white wines in Bordeaux area for 6€. Too much? Believe me, you can spend much more having much less in a lot of places in this town. The... More

Probably not the most characteristic place in Bologna to breath the local atmosphere. Despite the location just a few meters away from Piazza Maggiore, this two storey wine bar offers a wide choice of French wines in a Provenzal (I guess) style interior. The owners are from Bologna but nurture a passion for French wines. Only French wines are offered.... More

Dear E V, i know exactly what happened: problem was that the waitress was in her 2nd day of work, and she didn't know every single detail of our way of serving people. She just did what, truth to say, is a common habit in many other places. But not in mine. Should you be back ( as i hope),... More

Stopped for a filling lunch after shopping. It's very convenient as it's in the middle of all kinds of shops. We had great soups & a sandwich. Both were very good. They also have salads. Yes

Found this great wine bar on via deglia orifici ,the proprietor Fabrizzo had great knowledge and love of wine. We found the staff caring and very friendly. We were strolling around looking for somewhere for a light lunch and came across this place. It seemed a bit counter-intuitive to choose a French style eaterie whilst on holiday in Bologna, but it made a pleasant change. I had a galette with goat's cheese and honey which I really enjoyed. My husband wasn't convinced about the walnuts that accompanied... More

Loads of restaurant choice in Bologns, but we chose Fleur du Vin as we walked around the beautiful city centre. We couldn't wait to try the Italian meats & cheese, so went for the mixed platter and washed it down with a couple of glasses of fine Italian wine. The restaurant is located in the narrow streets in the city... More

We just happened across this lovely little wine place while wandering. The wine list was entirely in Italian so we asked the waiter to select wines for us, which he was happy to do. He made fantastic choices to go along with our cheese tasting platter which was delicious. Would definitely recommend to any tourist.
