This restaurant was recommended to us by our guide on a Bologna food tour. The food was delicious. The service initially was not friendly (the chap seemed reluctant to let us in and acted as if we probably didn’t have a booking) but our guide...More

There restaurant is filled with local Italians, but the service is by Friday English speaking hosts who make outsiders feel just as comfortable. Had the local Tortellini Al Brodo which was Tortellini with pork filling and immersed in pork broth. Simply delicious. Tiramisu at the...More

Stopped in on a lark before visiting the adjacent medieval history museum. Had the mixed appetizer with pickled vegetables and local fried bread. By far the best misti we had in Bologna. Came with soft cheese to spread inside the bread and then stuff with...More

I've been there Yesterday with friends. The quality of the food is godd, but the crescentine could be better. I suggest "tortellini alla buca manzoni" because they are exquisite. The staff is very efficient and kind.

We believe that his incompetence in judging food justifies his review. Probably the flavors of the meatballs are different because we add local products such as mortadella and Parmigiano aged 24 months. The "mushroom" is a sauce that is cooked 6 hours on slow fire...More

I write this review as a review for a trattoria, though in truth the experience was as good if not better and certainly cheaper than many at restaurant. The best guide to any establishment, is how well it is supported by the locals, who always...More

Local renovated and traditional place in the pedestrian area of Via Manzoni, alongside the city's major museums: the Medieval Museum, Palazzo Fava, Oratory of St. Columban. The restaurant has 95 seats divided into a large room, an area closer to the part devoted to an inn and a private dining rooms where you can book for parties or business lunches which has a capacity of about 30 people. The cuisine is typical Bolognese prepared with fresh local products and accompanied by wines from the hills of Bologna and local birer. At lunch the restaurant is also ready for a quick lunch and economic. And possible to connect wifi and docking stations for laptops and mobile phones. Disabled access and bathroom with toilet for children. Access granted to animals prior communication with the manager. We are closed in Tuesday.
