Recommend it 100%. Out of town but we were staying by train station. Nice all around experience. Steak, seafood special, wine, starters, and good old fashioned standards of cleanliness and service. Great meal and fair price too.

In spite of being near hotels and probably seeing lots of tourist, they have a local feel and actually treat you like one of the locals. I was very pleased with what was served and the waitress that took care of us was superb. This place was a last minute choice and I was pleasantly surprised. They will get a... More

They almost didn't want to seat us even though there were plenty of open tables. The service was mixed. A little cold. The prices were okay but the food lacked a lot of flavor. The shrimp and calamari skewers were rubbery and cold. Not worth coming back here. Better food elsewhere.

Since we arrived around dinner time, our first destination in the city was a restaurant. This was one of the closer restaurants to our hotel and they specialize in seafood. It was all quite good and I liked the food a lot. We started with bruschetta, had some green leafy vegetables, clam with trofie pasta, and roasted branzino. I would... More

We were staying nearby for just one night on our way further south for Christmas. Polite, friendly and prompt service. Menus in English available. We shared a clam pasta with a pesto type turnip [!] sauce which was amazing followed by shrimps in salt and skewered prawns + squid. Both excellent. Finally we shared a [home made]

Food is of very high quality and excellently prepared. Had primo of Tagliatelle with Salmon that was well loaded with salmon. For seconds had an oven roasted Branzino with roasted potatoes, peppers and olives. Perfectly deboned at table side. Heartily recommend for quality, taste, service and price.

On a 5 night visit to Bologna my wife and I only found this on day 4 but immediately booked for day 5. Be sure to book as it was full both nights and we only just managed to get the table on the first night. There is a great selection of fish and seafood (my wife does not eat... More

We are here twice during our stay in Bologna and the food was first rate with the waitress recommending dishes we might wish to try on our second visit. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and the very drinkable local red wine was €11 for a one litre carafe. Best to book as always very popular.

I decided on this restaurant because it was only 10 minutes walk from the Savhotel and it appears the locals go there. It is tucked away just over the railway bridge coming from Bologna's centre. It does not look much from the outside but once you are inside, it has that Italian small restaurant charm. There were just Italian diners... More

I found it quite by chance, it was empty at 8pm and full within a half hour. Fortunately they had a table. The spartan use of tomatoes ever in Italian food the replacement mushrooms gave everything a great flavour. Ribs with no sweetness - wonderful.
