I loved eating at this restaurant, definitely would come back again! The quality of food is very good, the ambiance is nice and the prices are decent!

Great gem in the Mercato delle Erbe. Try the dishes that they're named after (Polpette and Crescentine). Both simple foods but tasty nonetheless. Polpette is a breaded ball with a filling to choose. We had the mozzarella and eggplant (loved it). Crescentine is a puffy breadlike pastry. It's great when combined with salumi (coldcuts).

Fantastic evening at this lovely restaurant. Our waiter Michele was an angel - helped us with recommendations, was great with the kids. We had crescentine with meats and also ricotta to start, then polpette (meatballs), tagliatelle with ragu, and parmiagana (I'm veggie) plus a bottle of Lambrusco. All recommended by Michele and all totally delicious. We were also offered limoncello... More

I was just getting to Bologna and my friend took me there, excited for the food and the place. The location is horrible in the middle of factories. We were totally disappointed and he was sorry to have brought me there as a visitor. First the place was almost done because it was 130 pm but still we waited a... More

This place is VERY busy. The crescentine are good, but I particularly liked being able to say which deli meats I didn't want as I'm not a fan of Coppa di Testa. However, the stand-out dish was my husband's pasta dish - next time I'll be having that! Do book if you're planning on going at the weekend.

We stopped here on our way through Bologna so our eldest could have her 'bolognaise in Bologna'. Hard to find, hidden down a side road with no clear signage we found it with our GPS after reading other reviews. Well worth it! The eldest had her 'tagliatelle ragout', I had the gnocchi, my youngest had ballanzoni (as did my husband).... More

Excellent food, wine & service. However a little more attention to what is being ordered & what is actually served wouldn't go amiss. We ordered Sparkling mineral water & they brought still, which we didn't discover 'til it was opened. We ordered a €12 bottle of wine & we discovered that they had served a €16 bottle when we received... More

I've never been on a meatball restaurant before. Try the dish that has a little bit of everything, is for two people but not so big. Worth it

Happened to go to this restaurant purely by chance when visiting Bologna last year. I consider myself a bread lover, but a selective one. I was hooked as soon as I saw it being served at am at the table next to us. This is everything bread should be, fresh, tasty, soft, and sinful. Tried it at other locations during... More
