Hard to find but worth trying. Quirky atmosphere inside. Had lasagne and risotto with truffles. Both good. Wine was very good quality. Prices not evident for the wine. Gave us a nice taste of Scicilan fortified wine to try. I think the emphasis is on the 'Enoteca' with food. Owner has a pleasant personality.

Looked nice, we wanted light lunch, but were told only one appetizer was not enough. Considered leaving but since they were so quick to serve the botteled water we stayed. I have never before been told what i must order, should have left. The food was less than ok, price too high, and rude staff. Tourist trap originale. Dont go,... More

So we went there today around 7pm and with us there were two other tables occupied. The restaurant itself is very cozy and somehow from another kind. I had the lasagna al ragut which was very delicious and my girlfriend had the vegetarian ravioli which was ok. After the main course we had the cheese plate with around 5 different... More

I saw the restaurant in the afternoon and decided to return for dinner. Unique interior didn't disappoint and the tortellini were delicious. The lamb was good but too salty for my palate. The wine was good and the host polite charming and friendly.

We walked in for dinner one night on a whim, and had a delicious meal paired with unique wine at the suggestion of the owner who was very kind. The place has a warm quiet atmosphere, and is not crowded so we could enjoy a nice long meal without feeling rushed, perfect for a date. We enjoyed our meal so... More

We stumbled across this little restaurant en route to a bar known to us and decided to come back for dinner. The service was friendly and very efficient, the food super. Particular recommendation - gratin del Umbria - a showstopper! Quirky surrounds, great food and unobtrusive music. We'll be back.

I found this restaurant by chance, although it is very close to Asinelli Tower. It was a fortunate chance, since we had a very good lunch here, with the bonus of a very pleasant conversation with Signore Valerio, the owner and manager, who is a cultivated and very agreeable person. Despite being an Enoteca, the food was very tasty, including... More

From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcome. The atmosphere with old furniture, radios, books, wine, acetatos, oils and kitchen gear is wonderful. Try what you are recommended by your charming host and you will not be disappointed! No 'over pricing' in sight! We will be going back for more!

Today I was eating out with my girlfriend at Enoteca del Carro. The Restaurant looked really cozy and the service was nice. But the food was nothing special, especially the carpaccio. I wouldn't go there again.

As someone else also commented, this place does not deserve its poor reviews! Casual dining at its best with fine wines and simple local food with a French twist. We shared a plate of stuffed peppers and roasted vegetables that was absolutely sublime! The duck with ratatouille was beautifully cooked and we rounded off with a fine selection of cheese.... More
