We had lunch here, but they are also a deli store and grocery store. Choose from different lunch options on the day, known in Italy as tavola calla, this buffet style restaurant serves up authentic food to the region, go along the counter, pay at the cash desk and find a table - no one minds if you need to... Inexpensive, decent meal where you can choose the dishes from the buffet. Pretty crowded. More of a tavola calda.

We chose two platters for lunch and some local wine. The platters were so nice! One with salami, prosciutto, some local bread, cheese and fresh cheese with fig gem on top. And the other with prosciutto crudo and buffalo mozzarella. We could barely move after eating all those delicious products! Nice staff as well and right next to this place... More

A deli plus plus. Ham plate big enough to share, excellent tortellini. We will probably eat here again.

Tamburini was recommended to me by a local while I was looking for some restaurants to eat. Probably the best tortellini I have ever had. In addition, they have a brilliant collection of wine too to club along with the dishes

I love this place - it feels so very locals only. It's very easy to pick what you want from the line including wine! The food is simple and tastes great. This is a must do in Bologna.

We only wanted a light lunch without yet more bread. The choice was amazing and cost us 20 euros including wine (2 people). Not surprised about slow service remarks by other people as it is mainly self-service at lunch time. Two entrances to it so make sure you go through the shop and not enter the sitting area thinking it... More

Pork is the domestic pig intended as a supplier of meat and sausages. The Latin origin, maialis, is related to the habit of sacrifice to the goddess Maia a pig (porcus), term connotation, even more than the other, in the negative.
