While I appreciate that this is a UNESCO World Heritage site, it seemed that ever brick was in such order that I felt a was on a movie set. Absent was the hustle and bustle and yes, atmosphere of a traditional Italian town. Boring actually.

I recently had lunch at this small, eatery and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good service, big delicious bowls of soup, fresh vegetables, big salads and pastas, etc. Arrive early to beat the almost certain lunch crowd

We have eaten two days ago, the food was perfect ( two Crescie and one Cassone ). The location is in the real city centre and it's nice to stay either outside or even inside. The service has been nice, but very slow. If I would eat here again? Yes, of course!

If you're on a budget, you can eat and drink pretty well for about 12€. Sandwiches, piadine and crescioni, are the specialty. I've had better, but these are certainly good enough and very generous. Wine selection, by the glass, is if very good quality. If you're looking for a more traditional meal you might look elsewhere, but you won't go... More

Urbino is small and you probably need only one day to see most of it, but you can start longer to live the historical spirit. We have Seen especially the palazzo ducale!! So much culture, it Hits you in the face. You will see a lot of Mary paintings...Maybe even too much. Try to eat besides the academy of Arts... More

Excellent little restaurant/wine bar in the heart of Urbino. Beautifully presented local dishes & wines at very very reasonable prices! Loved the local cheeses & meats platter with typical local bread recipe & the pasta dishes were simply superb!

I didn't know much about Urbino, but really, really liked my visit there!! Such a cool city! Make sure you get a tour guide to take you to the important places and explain how the city was laid out and how it worked. Great view from the fort on the opposite hill, I can't remember the name.

We wer in Urbino between Christmas and New Years. We had read reviews for this establishment. But we literally couldn't find it. We near the general location. It took us a number of passes past the entrance to see the sign. See attached photos. There was also a sign for another restaurant in the same area that distracted and confused... More

This is a true renaissance city, (UNESCO) unspoilt by the hoards of tourists that mar the likes of Firenze and Tuscany in general. Amazing position perched high in the Le Marche countryside. Don't miss it.
