Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food in a very comfortable spot, The pizza and pasta were spot on. Waiters were all great and very friendly. We were staying at the W and most of the crew there said it was their favorite spot and it did not disappoint. We...also had the meatballs with black truffle which were great as well. I recommend highlyMore

Our family of 3 ate here for dinner. We had a booking which was just as well as it was very busy. Initially our server was very efficient and friendly. My husband and son's pizzas came very quickly but it took 25 minutes for my...pasta to arrive by which time the pizzas were all but devoured. I didn't order a complicated dish - it was cacio e pepe so I couldn't understand the delay. I caught the server's eye a few times but they just smiled and said it was on the way. When it did finally arrive it was disappointing as it was quite salty. The pizzas were very good though so 2 out of 3 ain't bad.More

Meh - average food, below average hospitality and service, but above average prices. Why some places like this insist on growling about making reservations yet are happy to seat you but not make you feel welcome - I don’t get it, say yes or no...and if it’s yes, show some hospitality. For a place with €3800 bottles of wine on the menu and plastic chairs and €14 pizzas - I think they’ve become unsure about who’s money they want. Our waiter had some pride in his job, displaying some hospitality and service standards, but the rest of the place let him down.More

We made a reservation since there was 8 of us in our party. We were seated outside at the farthest place from the restaurant. The table next to us who was seated after us got their bottle of wine before us. They also were asked...if they wanted bread - we were never offered. Food was average. Cacio e pepe was good. Overall disappointed based on recommendations and reviews.More

Delicious! Truffle meatballs were moist & Truffle was fantastic. Cacio e pepe was so good. Got the daily special ceviche of amberjack & pickled peppers -- delicious!! We were too full to get a pizza, but every other table got pizzas in addition to their...other courses. We will be back for pizza!More

The tastiest pasta carbonara I have ever eaten - melt in the mouth with every mouthful! Service not as good as the pasta dish and made our evening less than 5/5 - we were waiting fifteen minutes after being seated before even being shown a...menu … however, when we were ready to pay, the owner/manager couldn’t have been speedier to take our payment! Overall - delicious food, but the service is needing some improvement.More

We ate dinner here our first night in Rome. The food and service was average. Our waitress was very nice, but the host was not friendly and left us standing there close to 5 minutes before even acknowledging and finally seating us. We were sat...outside on the small street that was so narrow you were terrified of being hit by a car mirror every time a car went by. We sat the kids on the inside for fear of being hit. The food was ok but nothing stand out. My 5 year old niece liked her roasted octopus. The prosciutto with mozzarella was ok, but the prosciutto was dry and tough. The carbonara was not good at all. The sliced roast beef tasted like warmed sliced deli meat which was odd for a dinner dish. The positives were the roasted octopus, tortelli with black truffle, and the roasted potatoes for a side dish. Overall, there are way better restaurants in Rome for sure.More

We came here for dinner on Monday and were so impressed we came back on Wednesday. The service was very good. The wine waiter came to our rescue when we were struggling to make sense of the wine list. The choice is endless and you...can spend from about €25 up to €4,000. We settled for Nobile La Braccesca at €28. It was excellent. We had 6 starters etc across the 2 days and were very impressed. The only poor choice was the profiteroles. Filled with custard not cream. They didn’t taste as though they were home made. But that is the only negative. A selection of what we ate as follows. Saltimbocca al Romana. Joselito gran reserva. Fettuccine funghi. All excellent.More

Love this spot for classic Roman cuisine. Very reasonably priced and the staff is great. Food is just awesome and it's not a tourist trap. We eat here every time we're in Rome.

If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is one of those places. Their pasta is outstanding and their ambiance, although not as good as their competition is very nice. If you prefer substance over flash, this is your place.

Some of the best pasta we’ve had in Rome. Great little place in an alley with excellent service. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Carbonara was the best I’ve had this trip. The truffle tortellini’s were amazing!

Very good traditional Roman dishes in a hidden square in old Rome. Very crowded and noisy, as is typical of such places. Reservations necessary.

This is the absolute most charming and fun street in all of Rome! I’ve been here a week and went all over trying to find “Rome’s best pizza”. I followed all the YouTube recommendations, etc. … Nope, it is right here! The food at Da...Francesco is so delicious. I had a glass of wine from Montelpuchiano that was perfectly exquisite! The pizza is cooked right in the restaurant.More

A locally recommended restaurant. It doesn't open until noon so keep that in mind when going for lunch. We had the spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with bacon. The bacon spaghetti was super salty. Truly appreciated the kind, helpful service.
