That was one of the most horrible dinners ever. First of all we didn’t get a table outside although we made a reservation a week before. Anyways, as we entered the restaurant it was very crowded. The atmosphere is very cold and it’s unbelievably loud...inside. We couldn’t do a usual conversation! We orders pizza and pasta. The pizza arrived very quick. Unfortunately not the pasta. I’ve waited for 20 minutes to get the worst Cacio e Pepe ever. My boyfriend had already finished his pizza when my pasta came. I really like my pasta “al dente” but those spaghetti were just hard and not cooked. The sauce wasn’t any good either. I finished really quickly as we wanted to leave. When we told the waiter about the time gap between our dishes he said: “It’s impossible to get pizza and pasta on the table at the same time because the pasta takes 13 minutes to cook.” I really had to laugh about that. Only a bad restaurant isn’t able to bring those both dishes on the table at the same time. It’s cheap for Rome but it’s sure not worth a visit.More

I just came back from da Francesco. The food was great and the service amazing! I already made an appointment for next evening. Simply delicious, the starter, the fish and typical Sardinian desert “seadas” which I tried just because Salvatore recommended to me. Salvatore I...wish every waiter would be so polite, social and helpful like you. Da Francesco is the best restaurant I have visited in north Sardinia and Salvatore the best waiter. Had a great experience here during lunch. You can make a reservation online. The place looks much better in person than from TripAdvisor photos and same for the pizza. Great service and proper Roman pizza. Delicious and simple meal, that was very satisfying.

We saw how crowded this was when walking past the night before so made a reservation for the following evening and weren't disappointed. Easy going restaurant, with great pizza, good pasta and a cracking rib eye steak. The beef tartare was excellent also (although I'd...misread as carpaccio). Recommended for good food.More

Don’t forget to try the Fungi salsicia Pizza which is also amazing ! And to end your beautiful night take a tiramisu :) !More

I’ve lived in Rome for over 30 years and been to this trattoria and had good experiences. There were 4 of us and we paid 30 euros each for a pizza each,3 bottles of water and a bottle of wine. Spit and sawdust place that...are out to make a quick buck on fancy wines. Avoid...so many lovely eateries in Rome that have better quality food and give you a menu with wine prices.More
