I've been there with a friend. We had the house special antipasto ( that included some grilled vegetables, Parma ham, mozzarella, few cold salads, suppli') and two pizzas. Everything was tasteless and service staff was very rude and poor. Be aware that there they not serve authentic Italian food, probably they not have a really chef. I had the worse... More

We arrived at 11h45, the waiter told us to come back at 12h30 for the opening but when we came back at the said time, people were already seated, finishing their antipasti/primi piatti, so not a very good first impression. Pizzas are tasty, try the Buffala one (7€). Bread/coperti: 1€ /person Good place to eat after visiting the Vatican.

Good service, strange opening hours - between 15 and 19:30 it is closed, so our first attempt to have a late lunch 5 minutes to 15:00 was rejected and not very politely. Food was good, but still there are are much better places around. They bring you bread even if you have ordered pizza, and they charge the bread even... More

Our tour guide recommended this place after our tour of Vatican City. It was near the metro stop. The pizza was amazing and the service was great. Reasonably priced for food and drinks.

We got to this restaurant between lunch time and dinner time, so it was kind of closed. But Allessandro would not let us be disappointed. He set up an outside table for our party of six. Then he just started bringing food. We never looked at a menu or ordered anything. He just kept bringing amazing food to us. What... More

Great Restaurant with a lot of different dishes to try from. Ask for a traditional italian antipasti and you will surprised how much they serve you. My personal favorite is the Bistecca Firoentina. Up to 1kg of fines meat. Made by a chef who realy understand its work at the bbq.

On arriving in Rome we asked for a recommendation for somewhere to eat at our hotel and this place came highly recommended it being said that it was authentic and not touristy and not ridiculously priced. We went for it. Atmosphere; very good bustling with locals and tourists alike and is always a reassuring sign when you can clearly see... More

Stopped in for a quick bite, no such thing, the food kept coming and each dish was better than the next. The place was simply amazing! I can't say enough about how good this was! I think I will eat every meal here while in town.

The pizzeria is popular both for the locals and tourists alike, the food in great and atmosphere is of a typical trattoria. On the negative side be prepared for the 15 percent service charge.

My family and my parents visited this restaurant and wished we hadn't. The restaurant was so busy that the waiters were forced to almost run around the restaurant taking orders and serving food. It was ridiculous and impossible to relax. As soon as we got a table I said that we don't want a bowl of bread out on our... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
