Great local dishes with great taste. And their tiramisu was just fantastic. And the waiters were very friendly as well.

We do not often stop at a restaurant that we did not explore all about it on line but we were hungry and passed this small lovely place and decided to go in. We were so haspy that we found BucaVino. We started withe the Roman Artichoke which was very different from all other we have had in the past.... More

How’d I miss this? I’ve been a frequent visitor to this Rome neighborhood for several years now and had thought I had fully explored the better restaurants in the area, most often based on recommendations from the locals who attend my seminars. Bucavino had never previously mentioned, until this last visit during which several people praised the subterranean restaurant. It’s... More

Recommended by our Airbnb host we visited this Lovely restaurant and had the most amazing carbonara- we split one serving and we both got very big portions. Delicious wine, restaurant was full of locals- we felt like we got a real Roman dining experience!

We chose this restaurant based on its TripAdvisor reviews and proximity to our hotel (a ten minute walk from the Parco Dei Principi) and it didn't disappoint. It was quieter than we had expected for a Saturday night, but that didn't matter. Many hav commented that it is tricky to find - a small candlelit table outside with a menu... More

Do eat at this restaurant during your stay in Rome! My partner and I continuously checked Tripadvisor in Rome, because they're so many tourist traps. This isn't one of them. Very cosy restaurant with great, friendly staff and delicious recipes. We can recommend the cod fish with passion fruit mayonaise and vanilla onions, the fried zucchini flowers, the lamb, pasta... Our first night in Roma and this restaurant was on our accommodation's recommended list and only a few minutes walk. At 7.45 we were the first there. We apologised for not speaking Italian but were greeted with 'is not a problem, we speak little English and you are welcome' A lovely introduction. We selected the chefs special pasta - spaghetti... The food does the taking here.Chef uses recipes form his grandmother - really- I had an artichoke dish called "carciofi alla romana" - I nearly died. It was so beautiful. The rest of the meal followed. I was not disappointed by any of it. Friendly service (English speaking of you need it). The wine list was great as well. ENJOY!

Great service, the chef came out and talked to us a couple times before it got busy around 8:30. The food was simple but delicious. Artichoke appetizer, potatoe skin chips with a lime aioli, and lamb for the main course. The wine was excellent, nice cozy, locals restaurant, only seats about 35-40. Wouldn't hesitate to go again!

We needed a gluten free meal. The chef came to our table told us it would take a little longer as he would wash all the pans he would be using for our meal. The pasta carbonara was to die for. The best food on the entire trip!
