I took my wife here on her birthday, and we had a very nice experience. Our waiter spoke excellent English (although I can get by with my broken Italian, it's certainly nice to communicate with more certainty about what you're ordering). The restaurant has an...More

My wife and I went here on our last night in Rome after our 1st choice was full. We were surprised by how large the space was. The room visible from the street is just one small part of the restaurant. We were there at...More

Dear guest, We're very sorry for your doubts about our kitchen, but if he had warned us surely we would have liked and could have raised all doubt and misunderstanding. However, even by mail I can give you irrefutable certainties: Parmesan cheese on cacio e...More

We went to Novecento as it was just down the street from where we were staying. We went early so it was not crowded. We had an excellent dinner and very good wine. Great neighborhood restaurant with seemingly lots of locals and not a "tourist...More

2 of us ordered a starter and a main, both delicious (duck pasta and buffalo mozzarella pizza). Price was lower than expected for the quality. Atmosphere was good. Downside was they forgot my side salad and didn't offer any of the specials.

(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
