The steaks were huge and delicious, roasted artichokes mouthwatering, and the service was impeccable. We returned a few more times during our stay.

Horrible food Very very poor Saltimboca swimming in fat, but worse was the reaction from the staff One waiter did not care at all, the other one agreed that the restaurant was terrible and he already resigned and would leave very soon Also very dirty restaurant, not cleaned for long time

First you are convinced to take a seat.. well, if you are hungry and you need a toilette it´s not hard to be convinced... The food is expensive and not good. We got sweet Gnocci salmone, and a burned pizza.. really horrible... I was asked, if the food wasn´t good. I told them, but they didn´t care at all.

Guy outside restaurant was bluffing about the quality of the food which resulted his big belly which he continued to bluff about it. He promised us free wine and we accepted . We went in and they left us for one hour waiting to order food. They left us to die with hunger, and not even bread we had while... More

We found this place for our evening meal and we are glad that we did! The waiter was excellent and explained all of the dishes to us so that we knew what was available. My wife had the lasagne and I had the carbonara and it was amazing! Large portions and full of great flavour! We stayed in Rome for... More

Ate lunch here today and enjoyed the food. The pizza was authentic and tasty but the pasta undercooked (not al dente). Our order was taken quickly however we had to ask for side plates. The bread was stale but improved with oil and vinegar. The toilets are appalling with no toilet seats.

Dinner was awful-well my dish of house specialty ravioli was-hard, uncooked, and NO flavor-like eating a blob of flour. I have never sent back a dish in any restaurant in my life and I did this one! No appetite for anything else here. To their credit they did not charge me for it-however they did charge 2.50E for TAP WATER.... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
