Found this by chance down a side street. They have specials on at lunchtime but we elected to choose pastas. Really tasty food and wine. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and provided good advice on choices of Italian wines. Would very much recommend this one

We had an excellent lunch at Trattoria Moderna! The food was great, we tried two pasta dishes but there are many options to choose from in the menu. Very good taste and aroma, among the best we had in Rome. Staff was very friendly and we loved the atmosphere. For desert we had Tiramisu, highly recommended :) Will definitely return... More

The food was great. The hosts were friendly and very nice. The prices are fair. Great value for your money. אוכל מצוין. מארחים נחמדים ואוירה נעימה. המחירים סבירים והאוכל בהחלט מצדיק את המחיר.

We ate here several times in 2014 & twice on a recent trip. Fish dishes are VG especially the flounder, Ravioli with sage, cheese & ham & carbonara . The flavours are more subtle than other Roman restaurants. A lot quieter than many other highly regarded restaurants in the area, but do not be put off by the fact it... More

We've been here several times before, and when we booked our trip to Rome over Xmas we thought it wise to reserve a table for Xmas Eve. How right we were. It was busy but as before the food was fabulous. They offered a set price option for the evening - any 3 courses for a set price - must... More

While I wouldn't say this was the best meal in Rome, it was certainly up there. Somewhat innovative cuisine and not strictly traditional, well prepared and interesting menu. Cute place too. Worth a meal here for certain.

We both ordered the same pasta dish and it was really good. Service was good as well. Had to wait a while for the check.

Compared to other choices in the neighborhood, this restaurant was dissapointing. The food was so so and service was midling. Meat was tough and pasta okay.

Sitting outside was difficult as it's on a very active narrow roadway with constant motorbikes and honking. Ordered an iced coffee and was told they do not sell iced coffee. We ordered one Greek salad and one chicken salad. They were both identical except one had feta and one had fried (why not grilled?) chicken. About half way through the... More
