We were sent to this restaurant by our hotel concierge and were very pleased with the meal. Very welcoming staff, great food, happy to cook plain pasta and omelette off-menu for my 10 year old. Highly recommended.

There are several options for celiacs to eat in Rome. This is one with a nice ambient and just 400 m away from Colloseo. We, a couple, entered this restaurant because one of us wanted to have lunch. We were told in a really unfriendly manner told, that they are restaurant and we both have to have lunch. After some... More

We ate here twice in our week in Rome because the food and atmosphere were so good. It is important to book however. During February, at least, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. We booked at 7:30 each evening - when the restaurant opens - and by the time we arrived at 7:35 it was already full. It's particularly popular... More

After missing out on this place on previous trips to Rome, I was thrilled to walk in for lunch with no line! The food is wonderful, the staff is warm and friendly, and the house wine is not to be missed. Go here if you are close to the Colosseum / Forum and want to avoid a tourist trap. Reservations... I had two very enjoyable lunches here with friends. I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly with the Roman sense of humour which makes them so easy to get along with. The food is very good, simple traditional dishes cooked well, which along with a nice glass of wine makes for a very pleasant hour or two. One... More

This was the best meal my husband and I have enjoyed since being in Italy this week. I had the fettuccine with ragout veal and he had the rosemary beef- So delicious! We finished our meal with the chocolate torte and gelato, amazing!

We sat down with high hopes but the food was average. wine was over-priced for what it was, Some of the food was fine but the veal was tough. Maybe it was a bad night. Staff friendly enough but overall we were disappointed with the experience for the price we paid.

It is a simple restaurant, but very charmy and cozy. Tipically italian food for Italians. Testfull and very good food at a fair price. Alessio is the owner and it was one of the best restaurants we have visited in Italy! I suggest to make reservation before to go there...

Excellent food, wide variety of choices, and good service. It felt like a authentic Roman neighborhood restaurant. Typically cramped and charming decor. There was good gluten-free pasta, amongst other gluten-free options.

We had a dinnner in a larger group during a workshop. The menue is very extensive but we had a local among us to help. As they cook everything from scratch all dietary needs were happily accommodated. It is a bit stuffy and gets crowded, but the food was generally very good. Keep some space for those deserts!
