This neighborhood has quite a few restaurants. This is one of the best we've sampled. It's recommended to make a reservation. We showed up the first time without one and could not find a table so made a reservation for the following night and it...More

Very much enjoyed our evening meal in this busy restaurant, on a Friday. Had to reserve a table a little earlier in the evening to eat here. We enjoyed our pasta and desert - both delicious. The main of veal and my wife's beef left...More

- This Taverna was such a welcome respite after a blustery, soggy tour of the Forum and the Coliseum. We looked for something near our flat after getting soaking wet in the post-Christmas 2017 downpour of 12/27. - Offspring ordered the tortellini al brodo and...More

This is a short 10mins walk from our hotel. It is lovely and cozy. Great house wine! We took the advice of TripAdvisor's review and ordered the truffle noodle. It was awesome!!

Everything we ordered from appetizer to dessert was perfect and it was so good! The staff were very nice and accomodating. If you visit Rome, you definitely should go to this restaurant to taste the authentic Roman cuisine.

We walked for 30 minutes in the rain and it was well worth it. Once we were dry we were treated to delicious prosciutto with melon followed by gnocchi and pasta alla Romana. Great service and delicious wine on the menu. Not a tourist trap!

Our family dined here our first night in Rome. They were super friendly and our meal was excellent. They treated our teens well. We had the Caio e Pepe, the bucatini alla amatriciana, and the fettuccine alla carbonara. My son had the tagliata di manzo....More

This was a great lunch place within walking distance from where the Forum tours empty out. Food was very good and service good as well. A little high on the price, but worth going for a nice lunch after the tour.

Family owned restaurant with large menu and lots of meat and pasta dishes. The staff was attentive and took the time to explain the menu. Food was awesome! The seats are limited and the restaurant more than full on a Sunday night so make sure...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have only just seen your question. This restaurant is close to the colosseum. I would say from the Trevi fountain it would be a twenty minute walk.

Honestly I don't know. They are very family oriented, so maybe not open on Christmas...I would call them.
