Very nice interior garden seating, but very disappointed with the pasta amatriciana...the "pancetta" was just tough gristle and fat, no meat at all. Our other dish of grilled and fried seafood was overcooked, over-salted and the calamari was tough as leather.

mainly for tourists who like roman style just for the ambient but the price is too high compared to what they offer. il posto non vale il conto che ti presentano, tantomeno le pietanze. Non lo consiglio decisamente.More

Anything in Trastevere is going to be pricey, so we were ready for that. It was a blistering afternoon and the thought of sitting in a shady garden tempted us to choose Romolo. The reception was pleasant and welcoming , the server was a little...More

Good food, prepared according to Roman tradition. What makes the place particularly interesting is the nice internal yard (very romantic), so you can eat open air, and yet away from traffic noise. Staff is friendly and prices are fair.

This place was recommended in a 20 year old guide book so we decided to try (well if it's lasted that long!). We had a table in the garden and surrounded by Italians which I took as a good sign. A bottle of Prosecco was...More

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
