From the outside looks encouraging. Lots of Romans eating there and busy. This was my second visit and again a disappointment. The food was mediocre with brusk service and boring pasta. It's a large smart restaurant with lots of outside tables (which means you are...More

I was with 2 colleagues and 3 guests. We shared the same appetizers, then we had the specialities of the house “pasta all’amatriciana” and “tonnarelli cacio e pepe”. We all agreed that both we’re not notable. We terminated with different vegetables that didn’t impress us...More

Well known place also for locals, which is a guarantee. Pasta all'amatriciana is a must, and it is quite good. portions are large and tasty. Good selection of wines and of desserts, recommended for its specialties.

Fantastic roman classics including their buffalo mozarella, bucatini and veal saltombanco. Can't go wrong when paired with their excellent house red wine.

Worst place ever been. Although place looks nice from the outside the staff and food are terrible. Have been in so many restaurants butt this is the worst experience ever. Fokko Dekker

I’ve been in Matriciano at least 10 times in 15 years and it’s fair to say that it’s one of my favourite and beloved restaurants in Roma. This time, I’ve found it changed: completely renewed. I have to admit that I loved the previous traditional-based...More

Surprise of the surprises: behind the restaurant there is an annex, as if it were a garage arranged for people who are left without environment, decoration indifferent. Despite my early booking and having arrived on time, there was no place in the restaurant, so the...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
