We ate there on our second night in Rome as it was close to our hotel and just off Piazza Navona - it turned out to be an excelent and lucky choice. The food was fantastic with very generous portions. The staff were very friendly...and helpful - we must give a special shout out to Francesca who was especially lovely. The 2 of us shared an Antipasti for starters (almost a full meal in itself) and then Pizza and Calzone as our mains. We also had 2 Aperol Spritzers and a bottle of the local wine - it all came to €75 which we felt was great value (we had a similar meal with out the 2 mains else where at a the same price and felt ripped off). We were so impressed that we chose it as the location for our final meal before we had to fly home. If we get back to Rome in the future, we will definitely go back to Osteria dell' Anima for a meal. Highly RecommendedMore

Located across from beautiful, ivy covered Hotel Raphael, in a quiet spot very close to Piazza Navona.

Came here based upon a recommendation from a friend who was here 2 years ago (pre-Covid). Four of us each had something different and each found the dishes outstanding. Excellent service also!

Still a great place to go. This is the only restaurant in Rome that I have returned to every year over the past decade. Pear pasta is still my favorite dish in all of Italy.

We ate here right after the Covid lockdown ended, so we did not have a typical experience. However, I have no doubt that others' experience would be as nice as ours even in "normal times." Our waitress, Francesca, was incredible. This is the only restaurant...we ate at twice. We went the first time because we were searching for a non-pasta, non-pizza alternative, and they had a very nice minestrone soup and very good salad. We went back for the pear pasta, which we highly recommend. This is the favorite restaurant of some friends who have stayed in Rome for extended periods, and it is easy to see why.More

The only restaurant we visited twice. Wonderful food, cooked to perfection. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. If we return to Rome, we will definitely go here again.
