Lovely place, we were early for our reservation but they were very accommodating and we sat early and ordered food. Lovely meal, staff very polite and made us feel at ease.

Steaks were so good. And their shrimp/avocado with apples and rose sauce was the best salad I had on the 37 days we were in the country. Costas was our waiter and was kind , knowledgeable and helpful.
Over the years, whenever we come to Rome, we like to stay at the St. Regis Rome Hotel. While we’ve frequented restaurants all over the Eternal City, from time to time, we like to go looking for new restaurants around the hotel and, this year,...we found one that was truly wonderful. It’s La Bottega Ristorante Punturi and we found the food, the ambiance, and the service there to be truly excellent. When we first arrived, our friendly and very helpful waiter, Costas, answered all the questions we had about the menu and offered some excellent suggestions. As a result, the dinner we had that night was one of the very best we’ve ever had in all the years we’ve been coming to Italy. We’ve been back to La Bottega Ristorante Punturi a second time already, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience there each time that we may go back yet again before we return home to the USA.More
Grazie questa recensione è per noi una gioia
We were recommended this place but ended up leaving very sad with our experience, the young waitress and waiter were lovely serving other tables but the older man serving us clearly did not like us! My girlfriend asked for a 0% alcohol option and was...practically laughed at, the drinks we did order literally never came, we did not get checked back on, we sat with finished plates for 15 minutes as the older waiter continued to serve everyone around us, we then asked for our bill twice and did not receive it, the young waitress then reminded him to give it to us ( they were not busy ), finally as he came over for us to pay he began to have a conversation with someone walking by as we sat there patiently to pay, such a shame as other staff were clearly very good and the food was nice, would not recommend :(More
Grazie per averci informato su questo collaboratore prenderemo provvedimenti e grazie per aver parlato della qualità del cibo
The atmosphere was so lovely, and the staff were so kind. Definitely deserves more popularity. Wonderful food too! Loved it!
This restaurant is great. Food was delicacies and the atmosphere was very nice. We stayed in Rome for 5 days and we were dining there 4 times. The one time we went to some other place and the food was just Ok. So we stayed...with our first choice where our kids and also adults can be 100% satisfied!! Don't waist your time they sure know how to cook!!!More
We had an amazing food and drink here. The burrata with bread pillows and pesto was incredible. As was the beef carpaccio. For entrees we had salmon, risotto, ravioli and the mushroom pasta. We didn’t leave one bite behind! Our waiter (we didn’t catch his...name but he loved the Boston Celtics!) was so charming and very attentive. A must if you are in Rome!More
I love Italian food. But Today I have got the worst experience in my life. First we got dry bread. Then Beef carpaccio: thick grey meat. I did not risk to eat it. Then spaghetti which was so undercooked that it stuck on my teeth....Tasted just pepper. Probably to hide the taste of mussels… I did not risk to eat them. We said no to dessert though they wanted to give us it complimentary. We paid the bill, the carpaccio was not included though. The evening was definitely spoilt.More

Staying in the area on holiday, I was excited to see the online menu for this restaurant which had two dishes I really enjoy: Burrata & Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe. I normally eat earlier than when the crowds start showing up and saw that the...restaurant’s web site said it opens at 17:00. I arrived almost at 18:00 and they were rushing about setting up tables outside, plus glasses and silverware for all the tables. I asked if I could eat now and they said I certainly could and kept pushing me to eat “al fresco” when it was over 32c (90F). I opted to eat indoors where it was cooler. I was seated in front of a service area, and they had hip-hop music blasting on a blue-tooth speaker set on the counter right in front of me. Whilst I am not a fussy or demanding diner, I was rudely treated as a “nuisance”. Finally, I took matters into my own hands and carried my water and glass and moved to a quieter, better location towards the back of the restaurant (still the only patron), ignoring the waiter's “prego…prego” attempt to get my attention. The burrata was ok but adequate, I’ve had better. A small basket of bread was brought to me which was full of stale stones that were supposed to be fresh bread (see pic - the green isn't mould, but pesto sauce when I attempted to use it as a "scarpetta" [sop up the sauce from the plate with bread]). By the time my Primo Piatto of Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe arrived, I was already well annoyed with the whole situation and immediately asked for the bill so that I could leave as soon as I finished eating. Upon leaving, I did let me feelings be known and said if they were indeed not yet opened, I would certainly have waited until later. They said they opened at 17:30. Upon leaving, I saw the neighbouring restaurants full of dining patrons – a sure sign of where to go; and this place still quiet at 19:00 – a sure sign of where NOT to go. So, if in the area, patronise the neighbouring restaurants. They seem to be doing something right and this place something terribly wrong.More

This restaurant was just down the road from our hotel. What can I say - How lucky are we!! We stayed 3 nights in Rome, and visited this restaurant two nights out of the 3, if only we had visited on the first night also....The staff were absolutely fantastic, I only wish I had got the name of our waiter, as he deserves to be recognised. Funny, pleasant and very helpful. The food is 5 star. With a great choice and all very good quality - All made to order. My wife and I had various dishes during our two visits - pasta, meat, fish, all of them extremely good which leave you wanting more. Hint - Get the side dish of 'chips' and sprinkle some parmesan on them. Also the chocolate molten heart desert. I would return to Rome just to go back to this restaurant. Only minor thing is that the owner (I presume) seemed to be constantly watching/monitoring the staff from the end of the bar, while checking the till now and again. Its is just a little awkward, slightly off-putting and not fair on the staff.More
Away from the main Tourist spots we found this resturant by accident but it is well worth a planned visit . We had a really tasty beef burger and fries and Franco, who spoke excellent English, was most welcoming and helpful.
Grazie per le belle parole
the pizza was just the worst i have eat , was burn and to soft than u can not cut itwithout make a mess, the ham was put at the end like the egg that was boiled instead of make in the oven. whemn i...ask for the bill the waitres give me one bill without all must include like the direcction of the restaurant telefone and everythimg else, amd they charge me service fee , when i ask why was charged with that extra amount one guy come and said always charge that money extra, i argue and they bring me the correct bill without extra charges. dont go there because they treat bad the tourist and the pizza was horrible.More

My husband and I visited here twice and both times the food and service were excellent. I had a pizza one night and carbonara the next time. My husband had calzoni both times! The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting some lovely beers to...accompany our meals (I highly recommend the birra rossa) Delicious homemade tiramisu and simply delightful cheesecake. The only problem is now we are back home nothing can compare! We shall return.More
The worst pasta i have ever eaten in my life. Tasteless, we ordered spaghetti truffles n spaghetti lobster. Truffle was burned and left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth and lobster was over cooked and extremely chewy. The price isnt cheap so i was...really expecting quality service and food. The presentation was good, staffs are kind. Very unhappy with the food though.More
Quality in a pleasant environment wide range of dishes reasonable prices but make sure to check the price of the specials. I had beautiful mushrooms fresh from the forest and a generous portion but it did cost more than my main course.
