It is not far from the small, lovely square of the Monti neighborhood in Rome and less than 100 meters from the Church of Santa Maria ai Monti.
The coffee shop/bistrot, although very small, is really nice, it is located on the ground floor of...a small, ancient ivy-covered house!
Impossible not to notice it!
Tiny and cozy so that there are only very few seats, the interior has a warm, essential, modern design, everything is white apart from some metallic fixtures and the natural wood of the furniture.
We were walking in the area and we decided to stop by for breakfast.
In the morning they have cakes, baked goods, whole grain croissants with honey or berries or with chocolate.
We got cappuccino and croissants.
We liked it.They were delicious.
They offer also schiacciate, kind of pita bread to be stuffed with cheeses and vegetables of all kinds, as well as quiches, salads and other treats, and naturally all kind of drinks and beverages.
And homemade cakes, biscuits, and pastries and tiramisu that, we must say, looked very tempting.
The young and polite gentleman behind the counter was gentle and helpful.
Possibility one early evening we will return to have an aperitif and try some of their dishes with quality products!
Give it a try with friends or even better as a couple, since the romantic atmosphere is there!
A little expensive.More
