Worst restaurant in Rome (We did 10). They only serve italians. We waited 1 HOURS 30 MINS for pasta. But italians couples were served in 15mins. The waiters ignored us, said « its coming » but served the same dishes to locals that arrived an hour after...us. And the staff are literally hateful. I think they just hate tourists...
If you are italian, you should go there. If not, avoid that place. They ruined our evening, they probably will ruin yours!!!More
When we arrived at the place and looked at the menu, we saw that the plates of pasta cost between 13 euros to 17 euros . Before we finish checking the menu, the waiter named Mr. Maurizio came to tell us what we will take...and telling us that we should trust him and we won't regret it, saying that all the products are fresh and made by them, he then proceeded to take the menus from our hands. We asked for the price as we said we don't want to spend a lot of money and he replied not to worry so we trusted him. In the end instead of paying 50 euros for 3 people together like we planned, we payed almost triple the price by trusting mr Maurizio and his starters. As I have seen on other people’s reviews, many clients had the same complaint and the restaurant refuses everything but in the end truth will always remain. Completely disappointed from this place.
P.S. He also told us that in the starters mozzarella would be included, but it never arrived.More
The food is very good however the waiter FABRIZIO is extremely rude and arrogant. He made several rude comments to my husband and I. We demanded an apology which he reluctantly gave and then made another rude comment as he passed by us.
The actual...waiter that waited on us was lovely and tried to make up for FABRIZIO’s rude behavior and told us that he had been a problem with other customers.
We have been to Rome a dozen times and have never had such a bad experience. I will never return or recommend this restaurant until FABRIZIO is gone!!More
This place is a beautiful eatery in Rome which is worth the wait. They do not accept reservations for weekends so come early and avoid the ques that can last hours to get some of the best food of your life. The guanciale in the...carbonara was crispy and rich, the ragu sauce was flavourful and the caprese salad could have been designed by Michelangelo himself.More
Here I had the best pasta I ve ever tasted. You NEED to come here. Pasta 10/10 sauce 10/10. The staff and even the lady that makes the pasta right in front you were extremely welcoming. No bad things to say
We were some of the first foreign tourists back in Rome after the pandemic, so it was easy to see which places were popular with the locals. Osteria da Fortunata always had a line down the block! There is always someone at the window making...handmade pasta and it is truly delicious!
Eat all your meal and be rewarded by seeing a little lamb painted on the bottom of your plate!More

You will love this place. It is one of our most favorites in Rome.
