Dec, 29, 2016 A trip to Rome would not be complete without visiting Osteria Da Fortunata. One of the main reasons we go there is to see Antonia. Antonia makes fresh pasta in the window for the restaurant. She has a winning smile and uplifting spirit. How she remembers us from year to year is remarkable. She always gives my... More

This place is a humble little abode, the pasta maker is doing her craft in the window. I don't even know if they take credit cards. It is humble, it is wonderful in every possible way. I dread even telling people this because I want it to be my own little special place. Everyone I have sent there has felt... More

Being a Roman living abroad once I am back I always go to the best places to taste my own food. Only after 43 years I found this place. Amazing food even for well spoiled italian food eaters, this place is gorgeous and amazing. The strozzapreti are the best pasta I have had.

So at first I thought this was just a typical tourist restaurant. And it sure feels that way, but the food certainly isn't. Just amazing pasta. The little old ladies sitting in the window making the pasta by hand that you eat an hour or so later. Not sure about the other entrees, I only ordered the pastas and they... More

Having lived in Rome for some time now, I can honestly say that this is some of the best pasta I have ever had. So fresh, handmade in the restaurant by the mamma, what an experience. I'll be back - can only recommend this place!

This is hands down my favorite place in Rome. The food and the atmosphere were both amazing. The servers are extremely nice and service is very good. I came here multiple times with family and friends and never got sick of it. They have someone in the front hand making the pasta and it feels like you are at home.... More

Charming and intimate spot that makes their own pasta - right in the dining room of the restaurant. The pasta was superb and the atmosphere was even better. The only reason I downgraded from 5 stars was that the Capri salad we order was good but was way overpriced - more than our entrees. We ordered it after the menus... More
