Good pizza, interesting toppings and plenty of seating in the back. Pizza is by weight and they have a continuous rotating cast of toppings. We got the mixed vegetable, four cheese and another one with sausage. The pizzas were excellent and the crust was almost...perfect. Wishing they heated up the pizzas a bit more because they were almost lukewarm. Also, they had a rather limited selection of toppings and didn’t appear to be making more, which really cut down on what we could order afterwards. All in all, decent but still short of outstanding. Great owners who are very friendly and personable!More

This spot was great during the heat of summer. Fortunately, we walked past several small eateries and came across this one which has tables in the back with air conditioning. You tell them how much pizza you want to eat and pay by weight. Drinks...are a good price. Two of us ate and were stuffed for 20€ which included two cold drinks each. The highlight is by far an employee named Sandro. He is super friendly and sold us that we would have the best pizza there and we feel we did! Since we tried another place but it didn’t even compare. Sandro made our day since we had a bad experience with other restaurants where it took 30 minutes to even get a drink order. He is a valued employee and made our trip to Rome so much more memorable! If you go and Sandro is there..take a few minutes to talk to him! He will definitely lift your spirits and give you excellent tips he has learned since he has been living in Rome!More

The is a small place in Monti. Server was very friendly and helpful. Price is by weight and was quite reasonable. We sampled several of the choices they had and brought back to our Airbnb. Good, quality ingredients. Very tasty. Happy to have leftovers for...breakfast! Recommend going to the wine shop just a few doors down for a bottle to pair with the pizza.More

There seems to have been a change in ownership or at least in the crew running the place, but happily the essence of Da Milvio remains the same. The serve the best – the best – pizza al taglio in Rome. I was at first...doubtful whether they could improve on the tradition, but the vegan verdure pizza was absolutely fabulous. We ate ours at the Monti fountain, where we first tasted Milvio fare many many years ago. I had to return and tell them that my doubts had evaporated. Complimenti!More

I am a pizza snob...65 years in the making. This place has simply amazing pizza and other stuff for really reasonable prices...Here we go. My wife is vegan and likes pizza...easy for these guys. They made a pie with tomato sauce, rapini, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms,...onion, artichokes, eggplant ... just for her and quickly. It was amazing. I had a simple buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto pie, an Arancini and she had a whole artichoke. The food was amazing and the staff great. Nice little dining area (enclosed and spartan) in back...basic. Eat here!!More

In Rome the food is excellent, but you don't always have time for the leisurely pace of a sit-down restaurant. This location, just down the street from the Colosseum, is a great way to get good food on the run. The staff was friendly and...spoke English quite well, making it a great spot for the tourist on the run.More

Very good authentic Roman food. Bit of a hectic atmosphere inside but the food made it worth it. We had their “Calzones” and Supplì, both were fantastic. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe Supplì in particular some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re...looking for some fast authentic food this is the spot.More

I have been there multiple times during my staying in Rome. It is the classic Italian "forno". The place itself is not the most elegant, but you should know when you go in a "forno". The products are authentic as the atmosphere. The "pizza romana"..."is yummy as other products such as panini con porchetta and other typical foods they sell. The price are super honest considering also the location quite close to the Colosseo. The staff was kind and smiley. I would suggest it for a sporty meal or for a snack meanwhile you are visiting Rome.More
