Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am a pizza snob...65 years in the making. This place has simply amazing pizza and other stuff for really reasonable prices...Here we go. My wife is vegan and likes pizza...easy for these guys. They made a pie with tomato sauce, rapini, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms,...onion, artichokes, eggplant ... just for her and quickly. It was amazing. I had a simple buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto pie, an Arancini and she had a whole artichoke. The food was amazing and the staff great. Nice little dining area (enclosed and spartan) in back...basic. Eat here!!More

In Rome the food is excellent, but you don't always have time for the leisurely pace of a sit-down restaurant. This location, just down the street from the Colosseum, is a great way to get good food on the run. The staff was friendly and...spoke English quite well, making it a great spot for the tourist on the run.More

We were looking for just a quick bite somewhere. Forno da Milvio has a lot to offer and everything is quite delicious. There is also a bit of space inside if you grab something and want to eat in. Prices are so convenient and food...so good!More

Hands down the best pizza in Rome, if you’re staying in the Monti area then this place has to be on your list of food places. The staff are so helpful and just friendly down to earth people that love their pizza.

Very good authentic Roman food. Bit of a hectic atmosphere inside but the food made it worth it. We had their “Calzones” and Supplì, both were fantastic. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe Supplì in particular some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re...looking for some fast authentic food this is the spot.More

I have been there multiple times during my staying in Rome. It is the classic Italian "forno". The place itself is not the most elegant, but you should know when you go in a "forno". The products are authentic as the atmosphere. The "pizza romana"..."is yummy as other products such as panini con porchetta and other typical foods they sell. The price are super honest considering also the location quite close to the Colosseo. The staff was kind and smiley. I would suggest it for a sporty meal or for a snack meanwhile you are visiting Rome.More

I honestly dream of this place. We went here on day 3 of our 5 day holiday. We stumbled across this and popped in for a couple slices of pizza. It was super cheap and the taste was out of this world. We tried other...another place similar to Milvios. Other than they served pizza it wasn’t similar, on our way back to to airport I asked the taxi driver to detour past Milvios as I needed one last slice. Honestly cannot wait to get back to Rome so. Can enjoy pizza again from MilviosMore

We accidentally found this place after visiting the Colosseum and decided to go wandering for food after and we wished we had found it a lot earlier in our holiday! The pizza was delicious and the prices are fantastic! There were plenty of options to...choose from and we loved that they always had a Marinara pizza (just the base and tomato sauce topping) as my other half can't have cheese. You can either takeaway or eat in and the prices were cheap compared to other places. A couple of large slices and some beers...perfect! After finding this place we didn't eat anywhere else for the rest of our holiday.More

Absolutely delicious! We felt peckish just gone midnight and found this close by to where we are staying. They take card as well as cash. You can sit in or take away. They are not pre-cut slices and are a large pizza already cooked on...display. The lady was really kind and explained all the flavours to us then cut the pizza to the size we wanted and heated it up in a pizza oven. We also brought 2 x cans of drink and in total spent €10,50. Would highly recommend.More

We came here on our first night just after arriving. Can't believe we stumbled upon such a lovely authentic Italian pizza bar on our first night! We ordered three large slices of different pizzas, mostly by pointing and nodding, but they were very gracious despite...our lack of Italian. We ordered it to take out as we were exhausted. Cheap but very tasty. We ended up coming back on our final night as we couldn't face being ripped off at a tourist restaurant.More

2019-11-09. Great food and service, it’s not far from the center of Rome, there are a lot of locals coming in, which is a good sign. We had some quattro formaggi pizza, lasagne and pork. By far, this is the best value for money place...in Rome I’ve ever seen. Forks are made of plastic, plates are disposable but you no longer care as the food is delicious and moderately priced. Several slices of pork were only EUR 4.30! Will come back again next time.More
