- lousy, lazy service by young, uninspired Italian girls, who even forget to bring wasabi and ginger - sushi is not particularly good (not bad, but also nothing special) - portions are small - prices are big - place is crowded

After eating a lot of pizza and pasta, We wanted to change atmosphere and to eat something different. We came by this restaurant and it looked really nice. We heard that service wasn't good here but we give it a go. The food was nice and tasty, but expansive.... And the service? Wow... Absolutely terrible and unpleasant... Our dish was... More

A very very delish and fresh Japanese food. When you live in Rome, you do get tired of the Italian dishes (as a few reviewers have mentioned) and you start to crave other cuisines. And decent Japanese places are not easy to find in Roma. Since I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine and I am quite picky about... More

When you live in Rome, you really get over Italian food quickly! This is a welcome change. The salads are good, the chicken ramen oily and average, sushi is good. Service is OK. It's a mixed bag so I'd recommend sushi and salads. It is cheap, which is a bonus. There are numerous Daruma restaurants. This one is small and... More

We were a group of 10 hungry adults and kids when we chanced upon Daruma after an exhausting day roaming around in Rome. It had a good rating - not great - on another app but since we were very tired, we decided to give it a shot. It was the right decision. We had wonderful sushi, wonderful noodles, wonderful... More

Stopped here for dinner after a much needed change from too much pasta and pizza. I had the teriyaki chicken and a couple pieces of sushi and it was absolutely delicious. The food tasted fresh, was cooked on the spot and the staff were friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone after some nice Japanese in Rome!

The sushi here is pretty good. Nothing to write home about if you're a sushi lover, but certainly good for being in Italy. It is a nice break from the usual Italian fare. The fish is fresh, the portions are decent. Overall, if you are looking for decent sushi that won't rob your wallet, this is a good place.

In the course of a day time walk from Obica we went past this really nicely styled Japanese sushi restaurant. After 3 weeks of Italian foods it was a sea change. Jen looked it up on Trip Advisor and there was one review in English already 5 months old. The lure of sashimi and sushi was too strong and we... More
