My gelato was excellent! I had pistachio and nutella with cream. The best that I've had this week. However, they do not offer free tastes...

We only popped in for a drink but it was busy. We arrived just behind a large group of police officers who seemed to be very excited about their afternoon coffee, it looked like their boss was buying. Even with the large group in front...More

We loved this place that we visited more than once - great service, generous portions and a very welcoming host. The after eight and mango flavours are amazing, a must try. And for its location, perfectly priced! Go go go to la dolce vita!

Lovely little place packed with autographed photos and stills from the film - one of my favourites. Can't comment on cones as we had tubs. Crema and fragola are delicious but ricotta and fig was our favourite.

My wife and I hadn't had a gelato in Rome until 3 days after we arrived. I know a sin. We stopped here and had 2 scoops for 3 euros. What a variety and what a dilemma trying to figure out which flavor to choose....More

We were looking for an ice cream today close to coliseo and went for that one following trip review. We were quite disapointed. Gelatos were ok but nothing crazy and biscuit was like paper. Really disappointing.

My biscotto ice cream was very tasty (the best out of three different biscotto's I had in Rome), but after visiting a few other gelatria's, I really think La Dolce Vita could have a larger range of flavours.

Got a large tub of two flavours for just 4 euro! For an area full of rip off restaurants; this was a great deal! Ice cream was delicious and the Pistachio - melt in your mouth; gorgeous! Highly recommended.
