I traveled to Roma with my girlfriend, and how wonderful the trip was can partly be explained by the greatness of this trattoria. Our hotel was close to the trattoria and we ate there many times. Food there is amazing, and the people running the place...More

This was our favourite place by far, the food was so good, and the staff were fantastic and so entertaining. A great family run place. You have to start lining up outside about 1920hrs to get a seat. There is usually a lot of Jananese...More

My husband and I went for dinner right when they opened at 7:30--luckily, as they filled up quickly! The decor and style of the restaurant was very homey and simple. The menu was a little bit overwhelming, only because they had translations in several languages...More

This place was phenomenal! Be prepared to use your Italian language guide if you’re not a confident Italian speaker as most of the wait staff and the little old lady who runs the place speak little English. We loved the experience and the food was...More

My Hotel had recommended this place and I wasn't disappointed. Hidden away in a side street near the station I had to wait a couple of minutes for a free seat but wasn't disappointed. I had gnocchi and tiramisu

We visited the place to have dinner and it was absolutely great, as usual. We had carbonara spaghetti and a tiramisu and a pannacota for desert, they were delicious. A family-run place where we expect to go again.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
