I've never had a bad "trapizzino" -- 00100's word for its delicious half sandwich, half pizza creations -- and unless something dramatic happens I doubt I ever will. The ingredients are high quality, expertly prepared and served quickly and at a very reasonable price. It's...More

This pizza place opened many years ago and made some of the most amazing things to eat I have ever tried. Guinness and herring supplì was my favourite!! But also the Trapizzino ( triangular pizza pouch filled with different traditional and non fillings, usually meat)...More

A hole in the wall place in Testaccio (Southwest part of Rome). Has great suppli, but price is high. Worth a visit if you have time and money, but skip if you don't.

The pizza we had, classic Roman potato with bacon strips, and a slice of eggplant, was delicate, delicious and hearty without being heavy. Worth the trip to Testaccio to see a neighborhood where real Romans live and to eat well without being scalped!

If you happen to be in Testaccio, this is the place to go for some well made street food. The pizza is really good, but their suppli and trapizzini are awesome (I believe they actually invented the latter). Actually, if you have the chance to...More

First: the Trapizzino is excellent if you get it with the oxtail stew (coda alla vaccinara). The bread is crisply toasted and infused with olive oil; the oxtail itself is cooked well. The deep-fried risotto balls are also good, though a bit salty. The "pizza"...More

this place is far out of the way, unfortunately. We'd gone to Testaccio to watch the AS Roma v Lazio soccer match at a bar, as it was Roma territory, so at least we had a reason to trek here. But honestly it's almost worth...More

This is a little hole in the street kind of eating place in what seemed like primarily residential area. We walked from trevi fountain to this place... Along the river.... But the food was worth it. If u in Rome, then don't miss this place

I came here with some friends for 2 nights in a row. The place is tiny and prices are high but nonetheless we loved the trapizzinos: picchiapò (boiled beef with tomato sauce and onion), coda alla vaccinara (ox tail in tomato sauce), parmigiana, meatballs. Basically...More

I live in Rome very close to this tiny hole-in-the wall pizza place and I can give an honest true opinion of it. Every day there are organized " food tour" groups that go round the area of Testaccio. They go to this pizza place...More

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class
neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost
every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
hit, the area is full of locally owned small
