Everything about this place says authentic Italian as it's a family owned restaurant. Simple food but quality ingredients & very tasty! It's a beautiful small restaurant which was a little difficult to find as there is no signage visible from the street, so just keep an eye out. The waitress serving was so lovely and an expert at accomodating everyone... More

If you don't have family in Italy but want a family dining experience, then this is a very good option. The single server kept up with the crowd delivering magic from the kitchen. The place does not take reservations so first come-first served. There are 24 seats - not to be thought of as 6 tables. They use ship seating... More

simple but really tasty. there is no menu so the waitress tells you what they have for the day.the place is really small and in the evenings 10min after they open it's full and there are people waiting outside so if you plan to visit in the evening make sure you go early or be ready to wait a bit.

We had lunch here and it was a really enjoyable experience. The food was very good but not fancy. Athough the place was full to bursting, the single waitress kept calm and good-humoured and there was no hurry. I'd recommend anyone to try it - if they can get in!

We loved this place. It is not like hundreds of those touristic with 40 dishes in 10 languages. No printed menu available, charming lady Chiara will tell you menu by heart. Very tasty, cosy place. If I am in Rome next time, I will come back again for sure.

On a recent trip to Rome I went to Alfredo e Ada. There were 6 of us and 2 children. It is a very small place and there was one table that could accommodate us. We were so well treated by the staff. Everyone enjoyed their meals - especially the 3 year old who ate a huge plate of meat... More

I visited there years ago by accident. Was walking around then smelled the tasty food. Arrived kinda late for lunch, but staff was totally kind. Old man couldnt speak English so he asked a young lady for help. I got bean soup and pasta. Need to say bean soup wasn't my style at all so I didn't finish. But after... More

Despite many good reviews we found that the food was very stodgy and coarse. The bill didn't come itemised and we didn't know what we paid for. Food is really heavy and coarse. Service was good though. It is a relatively cheap restaurant for Rome standards but the food was not really good.

This nice typical and familiar classic osteria is always a great experience. In the years it is keepings its values and still remains a true experience in what the tradition should be!! Try it!!
