Fantastic food and fantastic service. The restaurant is hidden away but find it because it is worth the visit. It was our absolute best dinner in Rome.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant many times & it will never not be my highest recommendation to anyone visiting Rome! Frederico is charming and attentive & also extremely accommodating to allergies. The variety on the menu is plentiful and the wine...very tasty.More

Absolutely lovely restaurant in a quiet corner, which we happened to stumble upon by chance. They looked after our group of 6 so well, that we went back again as a couple two days later. The service is so attentive and the food is to...die for - I recommend the truffle pasta. Definitely will go here again if I happen to be back in Rome.More

La Tavernetta 48 is located in the city heart of Rome near the Pantheon in a quiet side street. The food is simply delicious with fresh, homemade and tasty products served in a wide and original selection of recipes such as Salmon tartar with passion...fruit (maracuja) sauce, almonds and strawberry; Ravioli stuffed with burrata and lobster; Risotto with lemon, butter, parmesan, red shrimps tartare, mint; Tagliolini with truffle cream, crispy prosciutto (ham) of Parma and fresh Truffles. The wine list is also exhaustive and all prices are really affordable! Last but not least, the service is outstanding with a fantastic, friendly waiter. What are you waiting for... we went 3 times ;)More

We had a lovely dinner, the waiter was so nice and he looked like he was enjoying his job, you can see the smile through the mask!! The pasta with truffle was mouthwatering and so was the carbonara. The restaurant is in a quiet area...away from all the tourist traps, the dim lighting was very romantic, will be back 😊More

Located in a quiet backstreet, we came across it by chance. One waitor was doing all the work, but stayed friendly . The food was delicious, I especially liked the salmon tartare and the charlotte with passion fruit. Would surely come again.

It was a great meal - and a very kind service! We can totally recommend! The bruscetta was a big portion, the Carbonara was one of the best, I've ever eaten!

Cozy place with great atmosphere. We both had the Beef fillet steak with truffle sauce and it was perfect. One of the highlights of our Rome trip.

Me and my mom had a fabulous dinner here. We arrived around 9 pm and were promptly seated and warmly greeted by Fred and a glass of champagne who treated us like family. He is Brazilian and when he saw us speaking Portuguese it was...a lovely surprise. The food is OUTSTANDING! We started with they charcuterie board and it was beautiful and delicious. My mom had the lasagna, lots of meat and I had the veal saltimbocca we eat EVERYTHING. Food was fresh, delicious, and portions were nicely sized. Price was also good.More
