Nice place in a nice area, very good both for locals and tourists. Authentic experience in a traditional space renewed with a good style. Traditional ingredients revisited in a modern way, very kind people serving. Very good wine selection at reasonable price, extra good value for money in general. Highly reccommended, I'd go there again for sure.

If you're looking for a special place minutes from the crowds of san lorenzo, this is it. In a small street within walking distance from the movida, this cute and trendy place will cater for you with a refreshing smile. Good music and a selection of traditional south Italy dishes are available. You can savour an excellent cocktail between 7... More

We paid 10€ each one for the dinner including drink. My friends had cocktail or wine and even if you don't drink anything they will bring you a jar of water with mint inside (which I really dont like the taste). There was live music, the place is packed with people and pretty small. I think you have to book... More

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. The portions are very large, so be careful! We were here for dinner, but they also had an apertivo buffet which looked incredible.

I have been knowing these guys for awhile, so I am pretty influenced by that in writing this feedback. They're kind, food is excellent, place is nice and cozy, desserts are amazing, wine is great in terms of price/quality ratio. To be improved: portions at dinner should be a bit bigger (no nouvelle cuisine pls) and please restore the self... More

I had a privilidge of having one of the best meals there. Lovely staff, very helpful, great wine and the food simple, but truly amazing. I'd go back to Rome just to have that meal again.

I went at Soul Kitchen for an aperitif. This place is not so big so it get full easily and I recommend to book before you go. Simple but delicious and genuine food. Cozy atmosphere. Sometimes they organize live music!

We were a group of 9 and originally the restaurant planned to put us in a side room. We opted to wait and sit on the lovely patio and enjoy the evening. We shared appetizers-one better than the next. Everyone enjoyed their main course and we would definitely return. Desserts were okay but by the time you get finished with... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
