Italian food is generally pretty good, but this place is even better. Spending 3 weeks in Rome, we went to this restaurant at least 5 times. Given I've only been to maybe 2 restaurants in Rome more than one (in maybe 20 visits), that's saying...More

Please please please go here if you are in this area. Amazing value for money, amazing food, great atmosphere. My partner and I came here as we were recommended by a friend and we were blown away. The antipasti ( Meats & Cheeses) was sensational!...More

This little osteria in Trastevere serves up some of the best traditional food I had on my trip. The atmosphere is as traditional as you can get (go for a table outside if the weather is good), while the food is straight up Roman classics...More

We saw many good reviews about this restaurant but we're extremely disappointed. We ate four different dishes and they were all bad. Tasteless meet, the sauce caccio e Pepe did not taste as such and the tagliatelle were overcooked! No real Italian cuisine serves overcooked...More

Wonderful simple traditional food. We have dined all over Italy in last 3 weeks and this is the best in Rome. We ate at number 2 restaurant in travestre last night and were disappointed-it was all about the amount not quality. Tonight's meal Was superb....More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

In Rome most restaurants are in walking distance from each other. Suggest you have a look and if they don't just walk to the next one.
