It was next to our hotel. You have a lot of option, pizza, pastries, appetizers... they are all good. We went before the corona crisis! It was great, highly recommend

There is not much to add to what other reviewers have written. We go often there and we are never disappointed. We go there for breakfast because they have great pastries and coffee. Last time we had a red pizza, and other savoury stuff. It...is a very good bakery, excellent for lunch. It's always full of locals. They speak also foreign languages and are helpful. As far as our experience goes, all the dishes were excellent and the service was quick and efficient. Certainly it is the best place around Piazza Vittorio: they offer the best options for food and courtesy.More

I loved this restaurant/bakery - it was a highlight of my time in Monti. The food was very good (get the eggplant pizza - amazing), the staff were very helpful and friendly and I loved being in a restaurant full of locals.

It is right off Via Buonarroti, next to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, few steps away from the Metro station. This family-run bakery has everything: a large selection of baked goods, and all you want from the savory to the sweet. It is difficult to choose...from their tasty looking menu items. We have been there many times now. We usually stop there, when we are in the area, for breakfast, because they make good coffee and have a large selection of tarts, cakes, croissants, pastries. We also enjoy the prepared food at lunch time: chicken salad, cannelloni, eggplant parmigiana, cheese, vegetables, spinach omelettes, pasta dishes. This location is one of our favorites. It's full of locals. We are amazed by the quality and professionality that this bakery/ food provider have. We love the pizza: they weigh the pizza and then you pay. And what to say about their breads, the breakfast pastries and sandwiches and other goodies they offer?? Everything is delicious. They have also a wide section of wines. You can eat at the counter or at the nice small tables and the price is the same. They do not charge for the table service. It is great for their aperitivo spritz. The ambiance is very relaxed and you can find a table where you can sit at and enjoy your drink with some snacks. You need to stop here if you're by the Esquilino area! Great for curbing your appetite with a quick snack. The place is clean, the service is friendly and some servers at the counter speak foreign languages! Prices are fair, considering the top notch quality of what you get here. Recommended.More

We were staying in an apartment nearby Forno Roscioli and visited it everyday to pick up some baked goods and other nibbles to eat. The quality of their goods is excellent. Pick up a cornetto or two - or stay “for a slice.” Take home...some bread or cookies. You’ll be happy you did.More

I found this bakery/pizzeria after a quick search once arriving to Rome and boy was it a special place! Once you arrived you were welcomed by many people outside enjoying food they bought inside. We bought a few pieces of pizza and were so happy...with our choice. If you are in Rome looking for a great bakery or quick lunch look no further!More

We were in Rome for a week and once we discovered this place it was impossible to find pizza as good anywhere else. The popularity of this place often makes it hard to find a seat but it is worth the inconvenience.

There are no prices and they charge you more if you dont speak italian. Ordered a bottle of water after our meal and went to straight to the casshier, she said it was €1, then someone else came with a receipt that said €4...!!
