This is a lovely restaurant and well worth the effort of visiting. We had the seafood tasting menu at 65Euros and it was superb. Really fresh seafood and presented excellently. We were given a couple of glasses of prosecco on the house and my wife asked for another as she enjoyed it so much - still free of charge. There... More

Pagaroma is a phenomenally good suburban restaurant in Rome just north of the Villa Borghese, within easy walking distance of two excellent hotels, the Aldrovandi and the Lord Byron. We had several meals here and each was better than the other: every dish is perfect as is their wine, all at reasonable prices. Worthwhile in all respects. We will make... More

The staff here are fantastic. Huge white dishes overflowing with imaginative, fishy comfort food. Try the gnocchi with prawns. Could happily eat here every night. Fantastic.

Probably one of Rome 's better seafood restaurants . Warm and stylish atmosphere. The young man who waited on seemed uninspired though.

The service was excellent and staff was very friendly. Sadly, the food was bad, mediocre at best. At +100e you expect to get a prime dish. Not the case here. Worse than average 10e meal in rome.

It's not in the very center of Rome and typically you won't go there just walking by. Unless you are staying somewhere near the place. Locals eat there. Very cozy interior inside and nice patio outside to enjoy your lunch in summer for instance. Great place for the high quality seafood. Excellent choice of carpaccios, tartars and fresh fish. Very... Visited for lunch. Stuck to the seafood which was very good. If you want a traditional restaurant, then you will like this place.

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
