We went to this small restaurant for lunch and ended up eating a perfect three course meal. At first we had an antipasto buffet, which was not only very good but also beautifully prepared food. For main course we took the pasta of the day, which was tuna. It was probably the best pasta I've ever had! The fish was... More

Ristorante Sant Anna continues its excellence in preparing and serving fresh local cuisine. Service was prompt and attentive. Veal, pastas, salads, and desserts were excellent. A wide selection of wines were offered in all price ranges. If you want to try authentic cuisine in the Navona/Campo de Fiore area, try this.

We had two very good meals at this restaurant at half the price of other places that we tried. But price wasn't the only factor. The staff were great. We were asked if we wanted bread(usually an extra charge). We felt like valued customers, not just tourists to be taken advantage of. A modest place with great food, staff and... More

We were advised by our hotel staff to try this place. So we decided to have dinner. We had Pasta and Grilled Veal steaks and fish.... Very good. As we always did find in Rome service was welcoming and warm.

I had my dinner here as it is located nearby Smeraldo Hotel where I stayed. Also, food price is reasonable compared to other places. I had pasta with ham which is scrumptious and delicious. However, there are too few ham in my pasta. I waited quite long (about 45 mins) for my food to arrive. The young waiter can speak... More

We went to this restaurant with high hopes, having eaten at several others in the vicinity with good results. How wrong we were! Everything we had was average at best. The buffet antipasti was ok but very limited, with no protein items. The bread that was brought to our table was one or two days old and reheated to the... More

Spent a day at Trajan Market and realised I had not eaten, on my way back to my apartment I decided to stop in. Well I was not dissapointed The lovely waitress spoke enough English to fill the glaring gaps in my terrible Italian. The food was of good quality, I had a shrimp cocktail followed by a Veal vino... Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us.. nice place, with good service and very good food! Had a delicious lemon veal with a gnocchi dish as a starter, and an artichoke heart drizzled in a parmesan sauce! Great wine, friendly staff....nicely priced osteria!

I ate here twice during my stay in Rome. It seems to be less of a tourist place than many other restaurants in the area. They made the best "cacce e pepi" (cheese and pepper) pasta I had in Rome. That, with a simple salad and a glass of white wine, was the perfect meal. I highly recommend.
