This formula has about 8 locations in Rome. They serve typical Roman dishes. Everything is freshly prepared and the specialties are very lightly (not too fat) fried dishes and homemade Fettuccine. They have an excellent wine collection for very reasonable prices. In the evening they serve a la carte. I can also warmly recommend their lunch buffet. Lots of fresh... More

First dishes are jest excellent, home made pasta prepared roman-style. Warm location, house wine and coffee ok.

This place has good tasting typical Roman food. I suggest you try the pasta with Cacio and Pepe. They also have a great local meat selection. Service is fast but suggest you book.

Located next to our hotel, we decided to try this restaurant. We had just arrived were tired and hungry and Mattarello Magliana served up a great pizza. Capped it off with a glass of wine and it made for a welcome lunch in Rome.

We were staying next door, so it was suggested by the staff, and since the weather was less than ideal we decided to try it. What a delicious stop! The pasta was homemade and my husband enjoyed the sauce. The service was good, and the place had a nice ambiance.

Over the last 30-odd years I have eaten a lot of Italian food. A lot. On my several trips to Italy, I have been searching for a plate that would set the cuisine apart from the fate served up elsewhere. After a couple of REALLY disappointing (and expensive) days in Rome, it has finally happened. Mattarello, well outside the tourist... More

Roma has a lot of pizza restaurants, I'm sure they are are all good, The Mattarello serves up one of the best pizzas we had since we've been traveling to Italy the past 4 yrs. When our flight landed in Roma we were tired and hungry and we still faced a 1 hour drive to our hotel (HILTON GARDEN INN... More

We had pizza and a bottle of wine for dinner - for a decent price 28 euros. We ate indoors - the indoor dining room was rather chilly in January. Service was typical European service - if you need something, you need to flag them down - otherwise they leave you alone to enjoy your meal.

Next to the Hilton, so our first dinner in Rome. Not the fanciest but certainly good. The fettuccine is their calling card. It reminds me of the egg noodles my German Grandmother made from scratch. Heavy but heavenly. Staff is very attentive and all spoke excellent English. The outside seating was a little noisy, but hey, we're in Rome.

A good restaurant off the substance rather than the image, a simple and informal environment where quality is king.
The excellence and freshness of the raw materials are the basis on which the holders of the pizzeria, they work to offer a traditional Roman Jewish cuisine, fresh and genuine with a price absolutely adequate.
