We ate here three times, twice for dinner and one lunch. Food was very good. I had Fettucine Alfredo which was great and spaghetti and meat balls, best meats balls for the whole trip. They serve bread as most restaurants do in Rome and charge you 1.50 Euro per person. Place gets crowded and does accept bookings. It is a... More

Had a pizza that was ok. The pasta with meat sauce was not great, one pasta with cheese and pepper was very liquefied. The pizza dough was good but watery sauce. They say the pasta is fresh but they do t make it. It's something you can buy in the supermarket. They charge you 10% to your bill which is... More

I went in with my familiy and ordered 4 dishes: -2 pizzas : meh taste, almost no cheese, soggy pizza base -1 saltimboca alla romana: soggiest meat ever, covered in a greasy sauce and with almost no taste, it was disgusting. -1 pasta with meatballs: 2 small meatballs for a entire dish of pasta and little taste. Apart from the... More

Back in the 30-ie3s Hans & Eloisia Giessauf created a little corner of Austria down town Rome by tranforming an English tea room into a "Bierstube", also decorating hunting tropies all around guest rooms. And this almost legendary beer house had accommodated since many famous guests such as Pope Benedict XVI. Typical Austrian dishes : auhtentic Viennese "Fiaker" gulyas, sucking... More

The staff was courteous. The gnocchi were great. Options to sit in or out. The street settings are charming and comfortable.

This restaurant is appalling in every sense of the word. My boyfriend and I were approached by one of the waiters to come in. His claims: "The chefs can cook anything you want. Anything that you can think of, they can cook it" "The food is all fresh" We thought great, let's try it. Worst decision of our live. I... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
