Popped into this family run restaurant and it was great. Family run and on the back streets it's a proper Italian. The Best meal we had in Rome by far. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. Great place.

Needing to eat quickly before going off to watch rugby, we liked the look of this place next to The Druid's Den and we weren't disappointed. A quick starter and main course were dispatched with ease from the kitchen and served by pleasant staff. With quirky decor, it emanates a convivial atmosphere and the food was enjoyed by all. Plus... Can't say enough about this restaurants food and the service from the owner. It's very inexpensive, simple, casual and charming. The owner treats you like family at his home,I have dinner here every night! Take some tape and a money note, they will allow you to stick it on the wall!

The prices are more than reasonable, the service is overwhelming, the food is very good. You feel more as somewhere in the province than in the middle of Rome. The restaurant isn't noble like the most of them in tourist region, it's just a native Italian place where you feel really comfortable. Also a lot of local people visit this... More

I came back for a lunch after visiting forchetta 3 years ago,in 2013 having in mind to re-live an unforgettable culinary experience. And I was fully rewarded: the pea ossobucco and the lentil soup I chose here proved me once more that this is the perfect place to spoil yourself with authentic savoury Italian food at an honest price. Congratulation... More

The atmosphere is typical Italian. The location is good. The food is tasty and the price is fine. Try the lentile soup and basically any type of pizza.

2nd time in Rome. We ate here twice last time and twice this time. Food is simple but very good. From the moment you sit down, get a jug of house red and the antipasto starter. Followed by some pasta and then some meat. Time flies by in here and you can spend hours here drinking wine and eating the... More
