Went with a tour group. The food servers were great They interacted with us. We had a fun time. We were serenaded. Food was good. Since we were a tour group, we had a limited menu. So not a true test.

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. Our guide recommended the lamb cooked Roman style and I was skeptical as I like rare lamb. It was delicious. Starters were good too especially linguini carbonara. Unusual tiramisu that was a cross between tiramisu and custard. Yummy. Accordion player and singer were good and helped create a party atmosphere.

- nice location, particularly inside, with very nice interior - good solid food at very reasonable prices with nice pasta selection (seafood and other) and some own specialties (chicken breast trilussa style) - very good artichokes too - noteworthy the cellar with some ancient roman exhibits and frescos - friendly personnel, although one a bit distracted (completely forgot appetizer), nice... My wife and I had dinner with 30 of our closest friends on a Tauck tour. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. We had live music at out tables by Renaldo. The dinner started with a tour of the street level room with great history and every thing afterwards was better and better.

Just like many other people we came across this restaurant by chance this afternoon and booked for dinner. Our greeting when we arrived in the evening was warm and welcoming. It has a number of rooms as well as a terrace, so the atmosphere is intimate. The service is friendly and well-paced. The menu is well balanced, the food honest... More

Best meal in Rome! Traditional Roman meal with amazing hospitality. Great for large groups/families and special occasions. This was our final night in Rome, and my family and I happened upon the restaurant by chance. We are staying in Capo di Ferro by Campo de' Fiori, and Osteria Romana is right around the block. When we arrived, we were shown... More

My family and I stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant when we were visiting Rome last May. This restaurant and our waiter, Giampiero, made us feel like part of their family. They took us on a tour of the restaurant and fed us a family style meal that ended up being the best food we ate on our trip. We are... More
