A local cheapie but food very much reflects the price. Pasta had egg curdled through it, mozzarella and meatballs had large portions but were tasteless. Lively neighbourhood spot but not our best meal in Rome!

We had dinner here and arrived just in the nick of time before the crowd hit. It appeared many locals dined here which made for great dining. Traditional meat and cheese tray was very good with delicate fresh mozzarella. Pasta with peas and mushrooms was...More

Da Tonino is a small cozy eatery with respectable local Roman food. Space was tight but we enjoyed meeting the couple sitting next to us (right next to us). I mixture of adventurous tourists and locals. A good meal for reasonable price.

Saw reviews and decided to check it out. They do NOT take reservations so get there on the early side, maybe 7-7:30. Warmly greeted and seated and appreciated the wait staff not automatically reverting to English when I spoke Italian. Ordered a salad, pasta with...More

I came here for the first time about 7 years ago and had the best pasta with eggplant. I came to Rome 3-4 times after that but each time they were closed (they would close for the month of August). Finally this year I went...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

There are a number of posts (in the forum or review of location) that mention this trattoria in Rome, but no actual review of it or a listing of it under restaurants in Rome. We just ate there and thought it was fabulous. We would like an opportunity to review it on TA.
