It all started with the sea bass platter on Monday evening. It tasted like I just caught it off the boat that afternoon. I did the sea bass again and wasn’t disappointed. If you’re into a low salt diet just inform the waiter and they...will comply. I ate their sautéed spinach every day with an entree. The olive oil I wanted to take home as well as the awesome tiramisu. The dinners were outside. The only negative to our outside seating was that a few of the people waiting to be seated smoked and the air unfortunately went in our direction. Try everything on the menu because you will not be disappointed. Our lunch inside was superb probably because it was the same as the dinner menu. The inside is really tranquil and quiet. The decor is a jazz music theme and perfect for intimate relaxing time with their great wine selection.More

This ristorante was only 300 meters from my Airbnb. After walking 8 miles on cobblestone with changing elevation in 4 hours I was spent. So, close it was. Vladimiro was highest rated and close. They were right( ratings) I saw a review on “touristy” and...“english speaking”. Well the staff are very fluent in English but the must have chosen to ignore all the locals present and who obviously come to this restaurant regularly. My server was Razanan ( hope I spelled it right) and he and the drink staff were as attentive as I needed. I selected the house red glass (Sangiovese) since I was solo and ended up having 3. My Primi was Buccatini with bacon in a ragu. My Secundi was veal shank and I chose chicoria as my vegetable. The pasta was perfect al dente and the sauce was good consistency and flavorful but not overpowering. My veal shank was tender but what a flavor pop! Chicoria is like a bitter spinach. I liked it. I will prob return tomorrow evening as my last night in Roma!More

What an exceptional restaurant. Authentic Roman food with a wonderful staff! We were a table of 7 and the staff was so patient and accommodating. None of us speak Italian, yet we had no issues communicating with our friendly servers. I and 2 others had...the baked sea bass with cherry tomatoes. It was so moist and flavorful it melted in my mouth! I also ordered a side of spinach that was excellent! We sat outside as we knew we’d be very noisy. The inside was beautifully appointed. This is a place not to be missed!More

We happened to stumble upon this neighborhood gem because our hotel was on the street. This restaurant is located a couple blocks from Via Veneto the best neighborhood in Rome. We had a rather large table of 12 because we had just finished a business...meeting and was surprised at how absolutely delicious every single dish was! We ordered every pasta on the menu as appetizers and literally everyone was fabulous - as in some of the best fresh pasta we have ever had in Rome. The sea bass was great and the presentation was outstanding- our waiter filet it at the table. The lamb was outstanding! Literally every dish was excellent. You must try the signature tiramisu- the waiter prepared it at the table with fresh Zabaglione that was out of this world! We literally licked the bowl🤣More

Large tables of tourists ( mainly English speaking), live music (O sole mio etc). This place is very popular and has an authentic vibe inside. On our visit the food was average to poor; v cheap rubbery mozzarella, tasteless pasta sauces. Service was indifferent and...the waiter confessed he hated the large parties! House wine was nice but there are better places nearby.More

Ovidio is an amazing man as well as the owner. Everything on the menu is very tasty, especially the pasta. You should absolutely take the tiramisu. The ambience is good and it coveys the feeling of the traditional Italian lunchroom Very happy!

Nice and kind waiters. 118e for 2 cups of prosceco, 2 glass of wines, 2 main dish, 2 deserts, 1 bottle of mineral water, 1 expresso. CorrectMore

We loved this place. Excellent staff, beautiful decor and for me it was a relief to not have someone trying to drag you off the street to dine in their restaurant, as so many other similar restaurants do. They don’t need to. People dine here...and I’m sure return because of the quality of the food, combined with the ambience and friendly staff. Our meal was superb - each course delicious. We were given complimentary bruschetta upon arrival, and biscuits at the end of the meal. All in all an excellent dining experience. I wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip we would definitely have gone back.More

This is a solidly unpretentious traditional Italian restaurant which delivers fantastic food, great service and does so smoothly, efficiently and authentically. Everyone is made to feel quietly special and the food is top notch. Not normally one for pudding, we watched the couple at the...table nearby being served with tiramisu which was constructed at the table - a fine piece of dessert theatre. Thus we were seduced into having the mille-feuille which was arrived then coated with a delicious chocolate sauce at the table. Not to be missed!More
