My first meal in Rome (touristy trap near the Vatican) was awful so I was praying the lifetime of recommendations about Roman food weren't lies, but this place restored my faith instantly. Holy cow, this pizza is amazing. We have some great pizza in Philly/Jersey but this is something totally unlike them. Light and airy while also packed with flavor.

We were on our way to Colosseum and we wanted to grab something real quick. My boyfriend saw this place so we just went in on a whim. The staff were so nice and the pizza was so good! Don't miss this when you go to Rome!

The pizza is very good and not expensive. 1,50 €/100gramms! beverages are cheap: water 0,70€, coke 1,50€, beer 3€. but only 3 tables inside. most costumers do take away.

Most everything worthwhile has already been said about Pizza Florida: very fresh pizzas, numerous choices, and a friendly staff that speaks English.

You can eat at this place the weirdest and yet one of the best pizza slices! The price is really good, like in between 1.20 - 2 euros per 100 grams.

Average pizza, not bad but not amazing. It did look pretty fresh, and quite affordable! The staff was not the friendliest, and no toilet. On the plus side, they have wifi!

This is a great little stop across from Pompey's Theater, not only the site of Caesar's assassination, but a cat sanctuary that features visiting hours - so unique! Anyhow, the place was hopping when we were there. Good pizza, reasonably priced, excellent service. I only gave it a 3 because there's almost no seating.

This place is perfect if you want to pick up something for on the go or eat in (bar stools and limited seating). A good variety to choose from, we loved the most simple of the slices, but it all looked equally appetizing. Good value too!

Staying in Ghetto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigbourhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighbourhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
