No the secret place or hidden gem, don't expect anything legendary. Pretty standard Italian food with prices too high for a neighborhood in Rome suburbs.

Very nice and real people serving wonderful food, even it doesn't look like high profiled restaurants. It is simple, tests really really good and exceptional, mans staff is pleasant (they invite you to be reasonable: don't order too much, portions are more than honest; we were two, and they invites to only order one antipasti, one primo, on secondo; and... Although none of the staff was fluent in English, we all managed nicely. This is a Sardinian restaurant that offers great food and excellent service at a very reasonable price. We ate there twice and our server, Giancarlo, couldn't have been more accommodating. He made excellent recommendations. The baked fish was terrific and there special antipasti just kept coming and... My husband and I ate here twice when we went to Rome- we had the mozarella and proscuitto pizza the first time, and I had a pasta dish with tomato, cheese and bacon (it was really thick spaghetti that begins with the letter A, but I can't remember what it's called, sorry). It was the best meal I had during... More

Excellent restaurant, food and wine great, staff lovely, and open on a Monday night. We had two meals in here, wish we'd had a third

Was recommended to us by a local. The athmosphere wad good. It's a friendly local family restaurant, with affordable and decent food. We had a meal for three for £45 with drinks. They forgot to bring my mixed salad, but this was the only bad thing. the wine and the food were excellemt with attentive service.

We chose this restaurant because it was walking distance from our hotel (Hotel Ars, also very good), we wanted to eat outside and lots of Italians were eating there. This place was open on a Monday night when many other restaurants nearby were closed. The food and house wine were delicious and extremely good value - not more than about... More

Staff tried hard to make us welcome (Thanks Fabio) and the food was excellent but at the prices, it should be. Highly recommended.

We ate twice and had perfectly adequate meals, however, staff were slow and not very attentive due possibly to a large young American tour group in the restaurant on both occasions. We felt the Hostaria Menenio Agrippa nearby was better and cheaper.

Great friendly staff and excellent value for money. Definitely pay this restaurant a visit. It caters for local Italian families and is not expensive like the restaurants in central Rome.
