We chose this restaurant because of the gluten free options on the menu. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We ordered a seafood pasta and a bottle of red wine. The final bill was 60 Euros....far too much to pay for a plate of pasta (with very little seafood!) and a cheap bottle of red wine (that wasn't that cheap!)

Super family friendly restaurant in Trastevere which offers everything on the menu in a gluten free option which was important for one our group. We had tasty pizzas and pasta and the best spinach with cheese and lemon ever! Friendly service, great value for money, inside and outside seating on a quiet street. Well worth seeking out.

What a charming little place. We had our first late lunch here and the waiter Pinot (I think that was his name!) made us feel so welcome with his cheeky Italian banter that we visited twice more in the 2 days we were there. Typical Roman fare, more than reasonable prices and we were left to our own devices. Pinot... More

Service was awesome and friendly we ate full menu with antipasti and everything was quite delicious. Children where well entertained and adults well sought after. Recommend for all families. Quiet location and not at the center of all touristic places.

We had spent our 2nd day walking around Rome in 34c heat and decided to go to Trastevere for a drink and something to eat. We were totally ignored by the waiters as we approached so found ourselves a table and sat down. A waiter brought some menus after about 5 mins and put them down without saying anything and... More

Staff eager to please but by far THE WORST food experience in one month of travelling. Don’t be lured by its convenient location in the piazza, seek out one of the many local restaurants nearby.

We sat down outside after being convinced by he waiter that they had what we wanted, but they did not once the menu was revealed. We had a couple of bruschetta, two coffee and water. 22€!!!!!!! Which included a 4€ cover charge added to already very expensive bruschetta and coffee. We have dined a lot in Rome and this is... More

The pizza was so delicious here and so was the matricianna! The pizza was thin and crunchy and had this buttery delicious heavenly taste.

I took my mum to Rome to explore this great city and over all EAT GOOD FOOD! :-) This place was a BIG FAIL. The Spaghetti with tomatoes tasted like directly coming out of a can. The pizza was too fatty and not well done. The price was much too high for the offered meal and the table setting was... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
