Great experience...very busy and timing is key! Aim for 6-7pm, failing that will have to queue due to excellent food. Great Service and can watch the pizza's being prepared from making the base to baking in the old style ovens

This place is amazing! We went for a late lunch and we're welcomed by a really friendly waiter (which can be rare in Rome!) and taken to a table swiftly. My other half and I both had pasta and both of them were DELICIOUS! Hands down the best restaurant we have tried while in Rome and would 100% go back... More

I was there with my parents after visiting Borghese Museum. It was a recommendation for typical Napoli cuisine. It was great. The starters (artichokes), the pasta, the pizzas and the tiramisu totally recommended! And it was 50€ for the 3 of us... one of the best in Roma!!

A good restaurant choice in an area where you cannot find many of them. The pizza, service and restaurant were right. The only "but" I would add is the restaurant door, that was always left open, and was a bit uncomfortable if you were seating nearby. Nevertheless it is good choice, and I think they offer buffet at lunch time,... More

So we had 3 days in Venice then on to Rome for 3 days. I found this joint on trippy. We ate here 3 nights on the trot. We really wanted to try other restaurants but kept asking ourselves why,,,,? We knew that the service the food and the price would not be beaten. You must try..

Our host, Carlo, recommended this non-tourist Roman pizzeria as one of the best in the city and as it was literally across from the apartment we decided to visit on our 2nd night. Whilst we cannot fault the food our waiter was less than effusive but you can't have everything. Perhaps it was too early in the evening - it... More

Dined here for dinner last week. It was absolutely rammed despite it being mid week in January with a large booking on one half of the restaurant. Our table was squashed right up against the bar. If I leant my head back too far I would have hit the marble worktop! A little too squashed for my liking as I... More

I am an American, and I have only ever known American-style pizza. Unfortunately, I have now been spoiled by this restaurant and can never enjoy ordinary pizza the same way again. As students on a budget, we ordered the Amatriciana pizza for two - only €18, and we had free bread and tap water. Besides the great food, the restaurant... More

Nice buffet with everything Italian!! It was an explosion of flavour in my mouth. The pizza was really tasty and the pizza dough itself was so soft and crunchy at the same time!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
