My husband and I stopped in Pasqualino al Colosseo for dinner around 5:30PM on a Tuesday evening and were surprised to find the entire restaurant to ourselves. At first I was concerned and then realized that locals typically eat a little later (7p or after). Given that we were the only table, the wait staff couldn’t have been more friendly... More

A little expensive for what you get. Don't touch the bread they bring to the table without saying a word unless you want to pay 2 Euro per person. The medium beer for 7 Euro is also a little steep. Overall nothing to go back to.

We stumbled across Pasqualino al Colosseo while wandering the streets around the Colosseum. We chose this restaurant partly because the menu looked good, and partly because they didn't have anyone standing outside harassing people to eat there! Prices were about the same as other Italian restaurants in Rome - about 10-12 euros for appetisers and pastas, a little less for... More

Food was fine, servers were pleasant enough. It's Rome, expect a service/bread charge, no surprise there. There were a decent amount of people in the restaurant. We ordered two pizzas, just needed a quick lunch, and it did the job. Pizza was the typical thin crust. We weren't expecting to be blown away and we were not. Only issue was... More

A stumble from the colosseum (you can just about see it from the outdoor terrace) but prices were reasonable. We stopped here for our first meal in Rome and was not disappointed. Food was really good, service good and all in all a pleasant experience!

We went there to eat pastas but they left us a very bad impression: service was poor but food OK. What annoyed us the most was that they forcefully brought us 2 slices of bread each which we didn't order. They just placed the bread on the table when they brought the menus. We didn't want the bread nor did... More

After we received the menus, they also brought 4 slices of bread which we didn't ask for, we weren't even asked about and which we didn't touch. However, when the check came it had an extra €11 added to it: €5 tips and €6 for the bread! It's a pity, the food was actually quite good. We regret not saying... More

I only ate pizza and salad. Not sure how well the rest. It's very close to colosseum and not that expensive. You can even order a liter of beer if you want to. Staff is friendly and service is generally fast. Would like to go there again during my n ft visit!
