We dined inside to avoid the noise and traffic on the Via Veneto. We had the baked artichokes and a salt-packed baked sea bass for two. The sea bass was flamed and excavated table-side. Both were absolutely delicious.

Was recommended this restaurant by our hotel. Great restaurant with lots of choices. Lots of selection for wines too. The waiter came and cooked the chateaubriand in front of us, absolutely amazing! We also brought a bottle of wine to take home as a gift....More

Was recommended by our hotel as real home cooking, the best. It was far from it. Met friends from Sweden who were also visiting Rome and we all felt it was mediocre at best. Waiter was pouring red wine all over the place, just missing...More

Located on the famous Via Vittorio Veneto, we had lovely dinner here with friends. Our table was set amongst a wonderful selection of wall to wall wines. Traditional italian food with exceptional staff. If you're looking for reliable and wholesome food with a touch of...More

My wife and I are "Italian Foodies." Arriving in Rome for our first visit in two years, we were candidates for a great dinner and we got it at Il Vineto. Thank you, Il Vineto, for whetting our palates for the week to come!

I arrived in Rome after a few days in Tuscany so comparatively I found most of the restaurants in Rome average at best. This was a step lower as they charged top price for average food so very poor value. I would not recommend this...More

We had a light meal here the first night we were in Rome. Marco, the maitre d', was just delightful -- so welcoming and helpful. Even though we did not order much, he made us feel special. We had an appetizer of cured meats and...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
