We did not eat here. We sat outdoors and had drinks while we rested our feet and enjoyed a beautiful day in Rome. The drinks were pricy (10 euros for an Aperol spritzer), but they came with great tapas, making the experience worth while.

The salad was fresh but not so interesting. The baked potatoes were tasty but very oily..The desert and icecream are good. The service was good and couteous. Sitting in the sunshine was very pleasant

Very good breakfast and very smart service. Differently than Rosati in front that is ridiculously expensive and awful. Canova is still expensive but in great location and they are very kind. It worth it. In the afternoon I come back for a good ice cream and they give a free taste on top to the kids. A small signal but... More

You can relate to the photos on the wall of all the celebrities who have been here. In the back room of the restaurant ask the, to open the roof...you are within roman walls and there is Franco, the famous Italian piano player !!! All the food is excellent !

Located in the square, it's very easy to find and lovely to sit outside. The service we had was generally a little slow but overall pleasant. I had the risotto which was really very good, much better than I had expected in the tourist area. The price for the food was very reasonable, especially considering the location and amount of... Canova on Piazza del Popolo is like a movie set: go to watch the people and have an expensive drink outside. Don't forget your sunglasses. The tables outside are so close together you can feel a bit squeezed, but watching the people at Canova and walking by is a treat. The locals greet each other as they go inside. The... More

really great place to stop and have a Sunday beer and pizza. The location is fantastic, food very good, beer cold and excellent staff. If you have a couple of hours in Rome it is a good choice

The location might be good, but the food and drinks are overpriced. 20 € for 2 cappuccino and a (bad tasting) homade tiramisu. Never again.

Ok, you pay for the prime location. But the view on piazza del popole at sunset is stunning. We had a large glass of wine served with chips and olives. 7 euros per glass. Worth it.
