We'd booked ahead as our first night in Rome was a Monday and many restaurants are closed. Termini is not a great location for dining, but this trattoria is an exception. We shared the house antipasti of salami, ham and deep fried vegetables and I...More

from our hotel reception staff. We arrived about 2030 and asked if there were any tables. Cecio’s is quite small, about 30 covers and it was very busy, which is always a good sign. We were advised to avoid restaurants where the staff drag you...More

We followed the advice of our waiter, Tony, and had an excellent dinner that included his recommendations for appetizers, a very good red wine, main courses, desserts, and a dessert wine. Easily the best meal we had in a week we spent in Rome.

Definitely recommend this trattoria and would advise booking. We went on 24th October 2017 and we’re lucky to walk in and get a table (as there were only 2 of us). We saw lots of groups being turned away. Very nice waiting staff, attentive without...More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. It was located around the corner from where we were staying. We were quite pleased with the Italian cuisine, three of us managed to order the same seafood pasta. Pleasant dining experience...tasty dishes.

We were welcomed, offered a table, and received very friendly service by an excellent waiter. The food is high quality and reasonably priced. The waiter gave us a good explantion of the menu, and had a good sense of humour. It was a great experience.

This family run trattoria was recommended by our hotel and we loved it. We both had pasta dishes and my said the red wine recommended by the waiter was the best she had ever had. Lovely food food from lovely people. You won't be disappointed.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
