I truly dislike writing a negative review, but feel it is justified in this case. Had 7:45pm reservations. It took until 11:00pm to complete our meal. Three plus hours is ridiculous. We did place our complete order early on. The felt ignored by the wait...More

The service was slow and the portions were tiny. Waste of time and will only make you angry. My friend's food was cold and the waiters offered no sympathy when we mentioned it. Please don't bother.

Strange experience. Normally the first drinks and appetizer takes a long time to get them. Also in this case. You really need to ask the waiters to finally take the order. After that it seemed like we needed to get the food in and leave...More

Ask for a seat on the terrace. Lovely ambience and view of the colosseum. Beautiful at sunset. Food was overpriced and crap - doritos and raw tuna for a starter when it was advertised as tuna tacos. Lobster meal was of poor quality - very...More

No pizza on the menu. Went for dinner and while it did have a good view of the collusieum this was ruined by being squashed into the table next to you as the tables are too close together. Staff seemed to be arguing while they...More

We were 4 friends 40s-50s on a first time grand tour of Italy. We looked for a good restaurant with a colosseum view and booked a table on the terrace one month in advance by telephone. I was unable to secure a reservation via the...More

If you can get on the balcony upstairs then it is a great view of the colosseum. I thought the food was no more expensive than other places around considering the location. Food was enjoyable, service was fast and I would recommend.

Reading these reviews my experience was a bit different. Firstly we went there for busy lunch, excellent food, best we tasted in Rome actually. We would have stayed longer if it wasn't for very arrogant italian family with their child screaming across the place. Obviously...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

Hi, I think it's the same menu as we sat outside the first time we went and upstairs the second. The view from upstairs is astounding as long as you get one of the roadside tables. Good luck, Ken

We just walked up both times, for lunch and dinner, and they had a table available. I would call personally though, the staff doesn't seem too intuitive.
