We went here twice in a four day visit, which says it all. The place is very cheap and the pasta is great. The best Carbonara I ever had. My boyfriend had the gnocchi with salsicci which was equally great.

A mix between confused waiters and pretentious sommelier, the service was not bad at all. We spent 35-40 euros a head with an entree, wine and a pasta dish each. The food was overall very good but not extraordinary.

Not too much dishes in The list (and that's good) but you can find all The famous pastas of roman cooking : carbonara, cacio e pepe, gricia and amatriciana. All are a taste worthy! Carbonara was The best I have ever tried; to follow many good meat from the grill and seafood. Big servings and very friendly staff.

Excellent pasta, perfectly cooked meat, friendly servers. We almost passed on it because there were no tables outside, but it had come highly recommended by our tour guide so we gave it a go--glad we did! The best pasta carbonara we had, and best pasta over all all week. The veal saltimbocca was just to die for, and the meatballs... More

If you visit the Vatican, it can be difficult to find a decent spot to eat. Ristochicco will take care of you. They have fresh homemade dishes with very large portions. 1. Spaghetti Carbonara - you have to get this. It's a spaghetti pasta with pancetta in an egg sauce. 2. Homemade Fettucine Boscaiola - The fresh Fettucine pasta is... More

• little local; • the food was typical and super-delicious; • the portions were too big (I wasn't able to finish my pasta); • it wasn't very expensive; • nice staff.

Very small restaurant, the perfect place after Saint Peter Basilica visit. To share as starter a dish I would sugest a local cheese plate to share, simply the best way to begin. Be careful to do not over eat a before the carbonara spaghetti, it is served in the pan. The ammount is enough to feed a complete troop but... More

Our server was excessively rude. Italy isn't known for having kind servers, but ours at Ristochicco was especially aggressive. The food wasn't bad, but we all had a bad experience because of how we were treated. For what it's worth, this restaurant is also the wrong choice for vegetarians. Most of the pasta dishes come with a meat sauce, and... More
